Red vs Yellow

Red wins. He just picks her up and holds her under his arm and all she can do is squirm around uselessly. If it’s really serious it might be closer, but Yellow’s only going to be able to outsmart Red (because she certainly can’t overpower him) if she’s extremely motivated, and she’s just not likely to be motivated to fight Red. Red probably doesn’t want to fight her either, she’s neither his enemy or his rival, but he’s got the power advantage.

Idk if ur still doing dexholder fights but if it hasn't been done already, dia vs pearl?

Why would you do this to them? Why would you make them fight? They don’t deserve this.

Anyway, Dia is unkillable. The only question is whether or not he wants to win more than Pearl. If Dia absolutely wants to win, he can outlast Pearl and get him with emotional gut-punches. Anything less than that and he’ll surrender sooner or later, Pearl is associated with willpower, after all, and Dia’s pretty mellow.

Gold vs. Green?

I think Green’s got this one, he’s stronger and has martial arts training. Even if we allow Gold his cue, Green’s trained in Kendo and in how to fight against Pokemon, a blunt stick isn’t gonna throw him off.

Not to say Gold wouldn’t put up a fight, he’s scrappy and might get a few surprise hits on Green if he has a chance to use the terrain to hide, but he’s just not gonna be able to deal the finishing blow. His only hope is if the fight is plot-relevant enough that Green needs to be taken out for the narrative to progress so he gets distracted by Oak being kidnapped again or something.

platinum vs white?

Neither of them are great physical fighters, but White’s got the edge, she’s just more aggressive and a bit more athletic than Platinum. Platinum would probably be pretty uncertain about what she’s doing and get thrown off balance (literally or figuratively). Plus White’s got those sturdy combat boots.

However, given sufficient time after fighting (at least a few days), Platinum would win subsequent matches, since she’s a hard worker and would study some basic fighting techniques. This could start an escalating arms race if White decides she likes the rivalry.

Whi-two vs yellow?

I’m pretty sure Whitley just surrenders immediately, but even if she didn’t, I think Yellow would win. Whitley’s a pretty normal 12-year-old (physically speaking, anyway...) while Yellow does surfing and Dodrio-riding and can heal her own wounds. But in a non-serious situation they’d probably kind of just stand around awkwardly until either they strike up a friendly conversation and one of them just surrenders to end the whole thing or Whitley works herself into a panic.

Sapphire’s arms rip through iron, Red’s abs aren’t even washboard. RIP, Red.

Here's a fun one: Ruby Vs Sapphire!

Sapphire, definitely Sapphire. Ruby may be stronger than he looks, but Sapphire ripped through metal at age 10. She has enough pride to not give in, even to her crush, and loves a good fight. Ruby might be able to get a few hits in by feigning surrender or defeat, but bare-handed he doesn’t have a way to actually stop her. She’s strong enough that he can’t pin her, even with more weight.

Ruby could only conceivably win if, like Green, he gets in a good enough hit to knock her out while her guard is down or she’s open during an attack.

Moon has been waiting for this. She loves her sister but holy shit does Platinum’s silly nature get on her nerves at times.

Anyway, Moon is way buffer; Platinum can strategize all she wants, she’s just not gonna be able to do much against an archer with that much pent-up stress. Also I’m not sure Platinum has it in her to hurt someone who hasn’t seriously earned it. She’s more of a commander anyway. Moon wins.
