Als „Polytoxikomanie in einem einzigen Medikament“ bezeichnete er Wick® MediNait: „Hier findet sich mit Ephedrin ein Stimulans, mit Dextromethorphan ein Halluzinogen und mit Doxylamin ein sogenannter Downer“, erklärte Elsner. Außerdem ist Paracetamol enthalten, das laut Elsner auch auf das Endocannabinoid-System wirke, sowie Alkohol.

DXM experience

DXM, Dextrometorphan, liquid, 375 mg, more or less. I’m afraid of nausea, I knew that it is the first symptom so I wasn’t sure if taking it or not. Then I said “fuck it” and i drank. First symptom: as said before, nausea. That’s not strong, I can handle it and I don’t need to calm down with hashish. Second symptom: euphoria. Like with weed. Third symptom: I start feeling relaxed and strangely happy. I lie down on the sofa with a friend, that encountered dissociation before me. Fourth symptom: dissociation. I can’t feel my body parts until I focus on them. I can describe the feeling with the verses from Oh Me - Meat Puppets. I feel like exploded, my pieces are all around the room but i don’t know where they are, I just feel them. I get up and the fifth symptom starts. Fifth symptom: visiual distortions. The first thing i notice is a violet filter in my eyes. Everything is pink/violet. Then I realize that I’m higher than my body and I see the ceiling high something like 8 meters, I don’t see the isometries as I see normally, but I see the isometric isometry. Then I try to jump. I can’t feel gravity, I’m flying. With a friend (we were four) I try a reality test: I must draw a clock with my eyes closed, and the numbers must be in the circle. See the image. I probably drew it on the table. Then I start to feeling relaxed and happy again, we lie down on the bed and let the DXM descend. The effects post-DXM are: high photosensibility, REALLY MUCH HUNGER, and a light fever.

Zoloft & Cold Medications

I am getting so, so tired of the misinformation out there about Zoloft and drug interactions, especially when it comes to cold medications, so I am going to post a PSA here.*

Many doctors and pharmacists mistakenly believe that SSRIs are fine to take with just about any OTC medication and will wave you away recommending your preferred brand of cold medicine. However, there are many different SSRIs and each one is chemically different, and as such have differing interactions with different drugs. Zoloft, especially, interacts with a major ingredient in most OTC cold medications.

Dextromethorphan and Zoloft have a very critical and dangerous interaction (see http://www.drugs.com/drug-interactions/dextromethorphan-with-zoloft-844-0-2057-1348.html) that can cause serotonin syndrome, This is a pretty nasty experience (http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/serotonin-syndrome/basics/definition/con-20028946) that can cause anything from mild agitation and dizziness to extreme reactions, unconsciousness, and can even be fatal if untreated. In short: be very careful and avoid any cold medicines containing dextromethorphan(DM) while on Zoloft. You should also always double check Drug Interactions (http://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.html), preferably before asking your doctor or pharmacist about medications. Because the body and medications are so complicated and diverse, they may give you an incorrect or misinformed answer. If you can go armed with knowledge (such as the linked knowledge above, not just hearsay on an Internet forum), then you have a talking point if you are unsure about their advice.

godzina 14. zarzucenie 18 tabletek DXM. czekamy wytrwale na działanie. gdy szłam po mieście, dziwnie patrzyli się na mnie wszyscy ludzie, którzy zauważyli, ze po kryjomu wyciskam tabletki z blistra. spotkanie ze znajomą. siedzimy 1,5 godziny a ja dopiero zaczęłam odczuwać minimalne efekty. zadzwoniła jej matula, że mamy iść do niej pilnować jej brata. gdy wstałam moje nogi były z waty. zaburzenia ruchowe były dość intensywne. około 16:20 kładę się u niej na łóżko i całe ciało nagle zaczyna swędzieć. niemiłosiernie. wypicie szklanki wody nawet nie pomaga. jest to bardzo bolesne lecz jednocześnie przyjemne. dokładam kolejne dwie. muzyka i jestem w niebie. zaczynam się dogadywać z bratem koleżanki, co dziwne, bo nigdy mi się to nie udawało. rzucam się po łóżku jak wściekła, ciągle się drapię. jest mi gorąco ale tylko dłonie pocą mi się. wariacje. 19:20 wracają rodzice. wychodzimy. czuję że wszystko mi przeszło. wracamy na miejsce z "początku mojej przygody". opowiadam znajomej przy piwku już, że to była słaba podróż. proponuje mi kolejne 10. bez myśli zarzucam i dzwonimy po znajomego. gdy przychodzi czuję, że ostatnia dziesiątka wchodzi szybciutko. idziemy po kolejne piwa. podobno byliśmy w kauflandzie po piwa, nic nie pamiętam. później boisko, bardzo marnie oświetlone. wydaje mi się, że świat zlewa się do jednej czarnej dziury przede mną. kratka od bramki wydaje się mnie przecinać jak mięso mielone. strasznie się pultam. lecz jest okej. niektóre cienie wydają się być zbyt ciemne i przerażają mnie. podobno gadałam jak najęta. ja niestety tego nie pamiętam. podsumowując? BYŁO FAJNIE. pierwszy raz brałam całe opakowanie jednego dnia. ostatnim razem kiedy wzięłam 18 dostałam palpitacji serca. ryzyk -alchemik
