PSA:
Acetaminophen/paracetamol has a hard stop upper dose limit, above which it becomes extremely toxic.
That limit is 4g (8 “extra strength” (500mg) tablets) in 24 hours (about 2 tablets every 6 hours).
A single dose of 22 extra strength tablets can kill you.
Taking 12 or more tablets per day for more than a week can also kill you (this is about 3 tablets every 6 hours).
Symptoms of overdose take up to 24 hours to manifest, and are fairly difficult to distinguish from other problems. They include abdominal pain (especially right upper quadrant), nausea, malaise, and confusion.
The antidote (n-acetylcystine) must be given within 8hours of ingestion in order to be useful.
After 10 hours the only thing that will work is a liver transplant.
You might think “why would I ever accidentally take so much?”
Well, acetaminophen is in almost everything in the cold/flu/pain aisle. Migraine combos like Excedrin, cold and flu combos like NyQuil, basically anything that says “non-aspirin pain relief”, and anything that’s branded as a fever reducer. It’s all probably acetaminophen/paracetamol.
So the goal of this post is to get you to read the labels on your medications. Because taking taking Tylenol and NyQuil together for a week (like you might if you had the flu) could kill you.
So if one nation is plunging into a dystopia, gutting it’s own scientific credentials and spouting unfounded opinions like a crazy drunk uncle (the one everybody hates) at a family gathering, take some comfort in that at least other nations are not complying with the crazy, and many of them will still have all of their scientifically backed information available online.
Acetaminophen is called paracetamol in Australia, and we’re still quite happily popping it in pregnancy, within the recommended daily limits.
Therapeutic Goods Administration recent statement.
Vaccines are great actually! They reduce both your risk of disease and the severity of disease! And considering Australia has a type of socialised healthcare system (Medicare) that means if an Australian citizen gets sick, the government ends up paying for most of that medical care, and all of the care in hospital. So it’s in the interest of the government to make recommendations that will keep people out of hospital as much as possible.
So maybe if you are in a country where you would have to pay for your own hospitalisation, or that of your children, you would prefer to take vaccine advice from one that has a motive to keep its citizens out of hospital. Though keep in mind other countries may have other endemic diseases.
Australian Vaccination Guidelines (may vary by state)
One nation does not yet control the whole internet, so if things seem to go more off the rails over the next couple of years, just remember you can see what other nations are saying for their own health advice.

Follow the money. 💰💰💰
1- I'm autistic and I'd like MAGA dumb ass to stop demonising us
2- I'm a woman and fuck you MAGA for once again trying to pin everything on us and make us suffer
3- He said hepatit B is an STD (it is not just that) and follows the statement by "wait until they're 12 to give it to them" EW, jail, esptein files, now
4- I can't wait for all the MAGA leaders to die an hopefully painfull death, just like they think we deserve
Edit: ok I was really mad when I wrote this. Maybe that was too far? But maybe not either. I'm REALLY tired of what's happening in the US and how it affects everyone in the world
5- Tylenol (acetaminophen) is really safe and have been studied
6- Not taking it while pregnant when needed can cause WAY worst than autism to the child
7- Autism was first discovered (as in officially recorded, not invented or some shit: it's always been here) in 1911, acetaminophen was created (as in made in a lab as it doesn't exists in the wild) around 1950. And wasn't necessarly available to everyone that quick.
8- autism is not a kid only thing
9- stop trying to "cure autism": it's not a disease, it's genetic, and I just wouldn't be who I am without it. YOU CAN'T CURE ME OF BEING MYSELF
10- RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES AND SEND D TRUMP AND HIS CLOWNS TO THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE SHIT HOLE PRISON POSSIBLE
Edit: I still mean this 100% lol
