Arrival: October 4th, 2019 - Doll Family-A Bibi!

This one is the closest thing I have to an impulse purchase...  but only a little! It’s complicated!! I’ve seen this sculpt a few times while browsing ACBJD and was pretty smitten by her. She popped up secondhand and reminded me of her existence, so I plopped her on my tentative wishlist so I wouldn’t forget. Then the head disappeared and assumedly sold, which was fine! But then a few vaguely interesting things happened. 

I had literally just decided I wasn’t going to put down a layaway on the other suspiciously cat-like doll I’d been considering, and then I idly started doing research for hybrids for bibi’s sculpt for fun (to flesh out my wishlist with info on possibilities her, if that makes sense...? I wasn’t sure if I wanted a DF-A body, so) when suddenly that very next morning she popped up again for 35 bucks. How could I resist?! Well, I obviously didn’t resist, so I guess that’s that... I felt so proud I held off on a 230 something doll this felt fair. Ahah.〔´∇｀〕;;;  

(Also I didn’t realize this right away, the seller was the same one who sold me my Wanda head!!! Small world!!)  

SO since the head was such a steal, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to take a chance on her and see if she might fit the character I was originally trying to fit onto the doll I turned down! With some changes, of course- I want her to grow organically. 

Tentatively, her name is Cecilia and she is a tiny vampire. She’s not a very scary vampire, to be honest... She’s disgustingly cute and mostly wants to hug all day, and I think her idea of being mischievous is equal to a kitten playing with a squeaky toy. I want her to have light eyes without pupils, and maybe a very short feathery wig in a pixie style, or two baby buns... hmmm. I think it’s time for a moodboard. +_+
