In season 2 the writers took his character in a 180 personality flip just because they needed another villain. Instead of just. Introducing a new one. He is not an evil man but suddenly he's totally okay with just imprisoning and experimenting on his friend. Also, they turned him into an asshole and then used him to redeem the previous white guy villain.

Absolutely obsessed with the fact that if we had more seasons, there would've been a time we're Bart would've re-encountered Ken again and be like "I think the time has come, the universe is screaming to kill you"
