So, I am re-reading/re-watching dgm and honestly that page made me die inside. (Chapter 183)

I don't know if everyone already knows that but I think, considering the context of this page/chapter and that Allen believes Mana is dead, that he actually meant something along the lines of:

...that day will come...when I can see Mana again

So yeah, it's obvious what that means *cries*

(Allen can think about Mana with a smile as long as he knows that he can see him again when he dies)

Allen & Tyki With Pregnant S/O Headcanons

||Note: Haven’t done much with headcanons in a while so bare with me on these.||

Allen Walker

- When you tell this boy you're pregnant he’d, of course, be overjoyed.

-  Since you all were at war he makes sure to get Komui to put you on leave and gets others to keep an eye on you just to make sure you don’t push yourself too hard that would cause both harms to you or the baby.

- As your belly starts to show Allen likes to nuzzle up to it, talk to the baby even though it hasn’t been born yet.

- However Allen is worried about your child being an accommodator of innocence he doesn’t want to have his child go through what you both have, and you agree to that.

- Allen is the type of dad to talk non-stop, gush over his own child when the ultrasound arrives and plan much stuff for the baby when it arrives

- Once that baby is born he’s gonna be a total cry baby, holding his (son/daughter) in his arms promising them the world and back.

- If the baby ends up looking like you he’d joke on how cute it is to see a mini version of you.

- Though if the baby does end up being a girl he’d be one of those dad’s to be wrapped around his little girl's finger, getting whatever she needs or wants in a heartbeat.

- All in all Allen Walker would be an amazing dad cause he knew just how it felt to be left behind and everything else he’s been through.

Tyki Mikk

- When you first tell him he’s unsure what to think, but in the end, he’s pleased.

- By this time he gets a bit overprotective due to the war with the Exorcists and won’t allow anyone from The Order to lay a hand on you nor find out about your condition

- The others of the Noah clan find out and start to either tease or plan a baby shower (Road xD) annoying Tyki a bit.

- When it’s just you and him he’d place his hands on your belly when your starting to show and smiles softly (something only reserved for you and your baby now)

- Makes sure that your well taken care of in order for your baby to come to the world healthy as can be.

- I think Tyki would be one of those parents who would be one hell of a proud father even when he feels the baby kick him in the face...when he has his face pressed up to your belly that is.

- Once the baby is born he’d hold (him/her) in his arms and give this most gentle look he’s ever really given, but honestly he’d hope that The Earl wouldn’t make the child out to be a member of a Noah clan...this child was to never get into the affairs of this war

- In the end, Tyki would be that protective yet cool dad in a way of course

What jobs would the main 4 have in modern AU?

Allen

Photography I think would interest Allen a bit. It’s a chance to capture a moment and make people happy. Though I don’t see him doing only photography. He’d probably keep a couple jobs depending on his area. I can still see him moving around a lot.

Theater would be fine too. Participating in local plays and doing outstanding in his role, despite not knowing the other actors well.

Maybe he does street tricks for a little extra cash on the side. He’d make great friends with the food vendors near by.

Kanda

For Kanda, a quiet place all of his own is what he needs. He’d almost have to run his own business with his temper. Anyone too loud, or disrespectful he can then just throw out.

He’d need some help though. The book keeping and financial side of things, I’m not sure he’d understand. Or if he did, he wouldn’t want to sit down and do it.

A couple businesses I could see him running: tea/spice shop, yoga/meditation classes, homemade soap/shampoo/body products, and cat sitting.

Lavi

Accounting suits Lavi just fine with the memory he has. I’m not sure he’d enjoy it though, not completely. He enjoys the numbers and what not but I’m sure he’d get tired of it.

I could also see him writing biographies for people. Other people’s lives are so mundane and interesting at the same time.

Lastly I could see Lavi posting ads and posing as people’s significant other for a day/party/wedding/etc.

Lenalee

Considering her role at headquarters, I don’t think it’s very far off to say that she could be a secretary. Maybe it’s not her dream job but she’s content doing it.

I don’t think Lena would be happy running a business on her own. It’s entirely too many people and she’d feel like she couldn’t tend to all of their personal needs.

Something a little less strict, I think Lenalee would be happy doing is working at a daycare. She could keep her eye on a couple kids at a time, depending on how many other adults are there. She’d love to talk with the kids and explain to the parents how much they’re learning/growing.
