Mana's Akuma
A big reveal in D.Gray-man was the Earl being Mana.
Allen is still unaware of the truth but he is slowly finding this out.
This brings up the question on who Allen really turned into an Akuma.
I have a theory that it was the ghost of the original owner of Cross.
During Allen's first Black Order mission it was revealed that Innocence can cause ghost to appear.
Later in the story we did see phenomena through Mister Martin. I think Cross' previous owner possessed the Akuma and pretended to be Mana.
I think it will be reveal that the apparition Allen saw when his eye evolved was real and is this ghost.
I also think it will be revealed that it took on Nea's form and told Mana to keep on walking.
The Ghost of European had the power of possession. I think when Allen called out to Mana the ghost possessed the Akuma skeleton and pretended to be Mana.
I think the ghost is Krory's father Arystar Kory II.
Allen's eye regenerated and evolved at Castle Krory which I think hints that it is connected to the family.
Krory's grandfather looks like Einstein and their name is based on Aleister Crowley. I think these are hints that he was a brilliant scientist and sorcerer. I think he passed these traits on to his son.
I think that is how we was able to place such a powerful curse on Allen.
According to the Earl the Akuma's purpose is to destroy God and the world.
Which was reiterated by the Black Order.
But Mana stated that the Akuma have a greater purpose. I think Arystar Krory II figured out this secret and is the reason he gave Allen the ability to see Akuma and drive to hunt them down.
