This alarm went off for the last time tonight to end our last time together as a group. We were sitting around the table talking about 7 years of growth when it went off. my girls seem to surprise me every week. not in just the ridiculous things that pop into their silly little heads, but also when it comes to the heart of it. just when i was feeling discouraged about being a leader to these girls, God was just so gracious to affirm and erase all doubts & fears tonight. it's taken some time, but tonight they finally opened up. His timing is perfect. it was just a hang out night as we prepared for the ignite carnival next week and we just started talking and sharing. they shared their convictions, struggles, fears, doubts, anxieties. they were so transparent and it was beautiful. God is definitely working in the hearts of those young girls & i'm so humbled and amazed that He would even let me be a part of it. & zach, thanks for your words of encouragement tonight and just your love and care. thanks for believing in me. gosh, the things that happen on wednesday nights (:
