Character Sheet - Pearl Helmi
I was unhappy with the first color try-outs so I made a better sheet. Her colors were picked with the help of Death-Head’s Deal Fun Club Discord server (fan run!), from a sheet showing different natural pearl colors.
Pearl was born into DHD when Alrick got shot and I wondered who the hell would willingly go to help a Death-Head? I thought that maybe an office worker, who works in the HQ, would be such a person.
Her deal with Grimm was supposed to be just a background for why Pearl isn’t afraid of Death-Heads and got her job. Then they told me they’re married.
Pearl is very conscious of her short tail and wishes it was longer and more feminine.
Her looks change when she grows older; her hair gets longer and her eyes narrower.
Pearl is a good dance like Cat and Half-Cat people are said to be. She used to go to dance lessons with her mother, who’s friend is a dance teacher. She dances cha-cha-cha the best and said it helped her to earn more tips in Cat Café.
She also danced occasionally with Loid in her former work place Cat Café Kaosa. It was almost always a away to get Pearl away from bad customers.
Pearl reads tarot cards, taught by Loid. She seems to be somehow spiritual but we don’t know how devoted she actually is.
Pearl is known to blurt things out and act more or less like a fool. But she’s never mean or stupid. Just clumsy.
Pearl’s surname Helmi means a pearl in Finnish, so she’s Pearl-Pearl.
As we don’t know what Grimm’s surname (or first name) is, it is safe to assume that Pearl kept her surname when she married Grimm. It is possible that Death-Head’s can’t reveal their full names to public so when marrying a Death-Head, the partner needs to keep their own surname.
She speaks on her phone with her mother on every Saturday.
Her favorite TV shows (at least in the past) is Chat with Chadao.
She really loves beer but gets drunk easily.
