Frog Boy x Reader! (General Romantic Headcanons)
— First things first, you two probably met when he was out on his usual strolls. All cult members have daily walks in search of more volunteers, and even have a secluded spot to pass time on. Something similar to a room.
— Frog boy is much shorter than you (no matter if you're an object or a human, he's really short in general.) so when he first saw you it was...definitely awkward. He had to stare up all the time.
— This guy is the most shy among the rest. He doesn't always talk as much as any other of the members, though he is the one that asks most questions. When you started to get along, he wanted to know lots about you. At first it could be a bit tiring, but he always meant well and apologized if you felt overwhelmed.
— Frog boy DEFINITELY asks for help to the cult in case he feels lost, with Shrignold being the only one to actually give "good" advice. Or at least, to give the most acceptable advice.
— Even so, Shrignold was a bit...hesitant of your relationship. He would've preferred Frog boy's Special one to be someone from the cult, not an outsider. But a crush is a crush, regardless of where they come from.
— (Rabbit boy and Unicorn boy were questioning how someone like FROG BOY could get a special one before all of them.)
— Overall, when you begin with your relationship, Frog boy would start to open up more. He still kept the cult hidden from you, not knowing how you'd react at the realization you were dating a cult member.
— Frog boy prefers coming to your home than taking you out, both because he was an introvert, and because he...doesn't know about many pretty places to get you to.
— He likes reading and writing, so expect some poetry coming your way! Including getting romantic quotes dedicated to you.
— Frog Boy is not so familiar to affection at first, he only knows the basics thanks to the cult. Hugging is the most he can do indoors, so don't expect him to start the touches.
— He constantly blushes when he looks up at you, admiring you from below.
— Of course, as a devoted boyfriend, Frog boy will care for you, be kind and share all he has to offer!
— And following that rule, the inevitable occurs. He finally gains enough courage to present you to his..."group." Frog boy never calls them for what they are, so he doesn't look weird.
— Everyone is excited to meet you, especially Shrignold. The butterfly happily roams around the two of you, asking questions over and over, your favourite flowers, color, food, if you prefer pants or dress, if you'd like a veil, your finger size, the normal things.
— They're all happy to have you there, and even celebrate like crazy. They even declared you as a new part of the family, how kind! Though, Frog boy was definitely nervous when Shrignold was preparing the cuffs on the ceremonial chair...
— Frog boy is careful of what they do, and tries to get you away from specific areas where any of the members could be alone with you. He doesn't want to scare you away!
— Luckily nothing happened, you remained safe by his side.
— Frog boy often tries to look for places to bring you to, especially the ones that have water. Even better when it's raining, he loves rainy days!
— His love language is tied between quality time and physical touch after he gets used to the relationship. He's always holding you in some way, even if it's pinkie holding or cuddling.
