Dodging Stressors

Figuring your taxes…projects to finish…others expectations of you…promises to keep to yourself and others…political debates - either party...annoying acquaintances…the neighbor dog barking at 2:00 am…close call in traffic with creative drivers...the list goes on!
Whatever makes your eyes cross and your attitude too, is a stressor. Know what sets your teeth on edge. Give yourself extra time to complete projects. You don’t have to be everyone’s go to gal/guy for problem solving. They’ll figure it out for themselves all on their own if they have to. Set limits - don’t be shy about saying no, even when in the past you could handle the extra load. Go for a walk when you start to feel the walls closing in on you or your fuse getting short. Make your exercise a rock solid commitment to yourself. It helps you get through the rest of the demands in your life and helps keep your blood sugar levels at a better number.
When I’m not side-stepping stressors, I’m relaxing sewing aprons for my etsy shop (www.etsy.com/shop/topdrawerthreads). My daughter’s (and friend) have an etsy shop, www.etsy.com/shop/yesdesigns , where they hand make and sell sugar skull bridal couple knickers, leggings, and macrame jewelry.
