Latin Spanish Names for the New Trolls
Just dropping by to share the names of the Trolls in Latin American Spanish.
Let’s start with Legsly. Her name is Piernanda which is hilarious. Pierna (Leg) + Fernanda (Proper Name). A pretty good adaptation of Legsly in my opinion.
Then we have that Tiny Diamond’s name is Diamantito, which literally means “Little Diamond”, but that “Tito” at the end, is also a proper Hispanic name, so when they call him “Tiny”, in Spanish they call him “Tito”, which is very nice indeed.
Next we have Hickory and Dickory. Their names are Justino (Hickory) and Rufino (Dickory). There’s no catch here, those are just normal names (although very funny, old names that only grandpas have now a days lol) I admit I was lmao when I fist heard “Justino”. I guess they are kinda the names countryside people have.
I think those are all.
But. Let me getcha a bonus:
Instead of “Branchifer” and “Poppyfer”, we have “Chiqui Ramón” and “Chiqui Poppy” and I cannot begin to tell you just how much of a cheesy way that is to call someone. Like. Only cliché lobey-dobey couples that have zero shame call each other that. Just wanted to put that in there for al my broppy shippers out there.
