Pink, Lace & Diamond Cake

Courtney & Dan's wedding was just so, so pretty! All of the little details, the candles, everything about it was a light pink paradise. The venue (the Meeting House in Plymouth, Mi.) suited everything perfectly. 

This tiered cake rested on 1" diamond-studded separators, giving it a floating affect. The pale pink tiers were wrapped in sugar veil lace panels, a new technique I've learned recently. It is extremely time consuming (each panel takes hours to prepare and is incredibly fragile), but so worth it. I love the delicate fabric texture, and the surprise of the guests when they discovered it was all sugar, too!
