awww :) the south here reminded me a little bit of my home town (i’m from poland) where everyone knows everything about each other and has a lot of inside jokes that never get old.

Hey! Best flea pill to get is brovecto! It last 3 months kills ticks too! Trifexis has a tendency to cause stomach issues (like literally bloody shits) and topical treatments do not work. Anything bought at pet smart isn’t gonna work and might even lead to serious issues (I think the brand I spot on. Do not buy. Literally has lead to deaths). I’ve been working at a vet clinic for 7 years now and grooming for a total of 12 so I see this shit on a daily basis lol

I had a friend of mine tell me once that I was ruining my skin showering everyday. I was like, dude I groom dogs if you think for one second I’m not gonna shower after grooming dogs all day you’re out of your goddamn mind. Even on my days off I couldn’t imagine not showering.

SERIOUSLY. I just feel so gross if I don’t shower and they’re trying to tell me it’s healthy to only shower twice a week???? twice????? a week????? no????? if folk are so damn worried about your skin being ruined then they can buy you nice skin creams and shut the hell up.

Okay on the dog hair sweater thing. I take personal offense to that as a fucking dog groomer. Do these people not realize how fucking itchy that shit is? What the fuck is wrong with them? I swear to god I have to use a force dryer at the end of my shift to get that shit off of me and these people are paying to wear it?? I'm just done.

I KNOWWW!!!!!!! like!!!!  all I can think of when I imagine the texture of dog sweaters is this one god awful pair of wool pajamas I had to wear as a kid. they were scratchy and itchy and I hated them.

Also if your insurance won’t cover it it might be worth it to look into a counselor that’s doing their clinical hours. My therapist would have a few in her office and they were cheaper than her cost.

Therapy is fantastic. I used to go once a week and even when I go through the worst of my issues it was still nice just having someone that I could spill everything to. Honestly it’s so refreshing and I would just leave feeling so much lighter. I highly recommend it.

god I hope this is gonna be me. I’m gonna check and see if I can afford therapy through medicaid as well, if the school counselor works out well.
