You live in Berlin and Lagos, but grew up in Italy; your mother is #Italian and your dad is #Nigerian. Does food play a big part in helping you feel a sense of home? Yes, the first thing I do when I arrive in Cremona is to go to the bakery for some divine, fresh focaccia e pizzette. My mom always prepares traditional dishes and buys lots of treats from the salumeria. When I visit my dad in #Lagos, he makes a nice #egusi—my favourite food. My partner is also a great cook, so home—whether in Lagos or Berlin—tastes like #amala and #okrosoup. It’s magic for the mouth!
