In the past 90 days, I set upon 4 goals - 1) Run a 1/2 Marathon 2) Increase my network by sharing 8 Raw life Journals of the Art of my Life in order to create more intimate relationships with those who don't and do know me. 3) Buy the Car of my Dreams and 4) Build a strong community of positive thinking people around me to keep me being the best person I can be.
Well, I have officially completed ALL of my goals and I truly am enjoying the affects it has made on my life. My heart has opened to let more and more people into my life. Wealth is directly proportionate to the number of people you serve in this world. This was a very tough concept to understand how I do that in my life...and today, I definitely know what that means. I've been able to raise $410 in 3 hrs for the Downtown Eastside Women's Shelter from my run. My online journals helped me structure my Tedtalks audition, that which deemed me one of the 8 selected TedxRenfrew-Collingwood Speakers this Oct 19, 2013. I never knew exposing what I'm going through helps others too!
I feel I've moved into a place of abundance and acceptance of what I feel I deserve. I've never bought something big for myself before and so I carefully went through the process of buying an absolutely preciously cute car to drive within the city AND IS the Ultimate Classically Quirky with and Urban Twist sort of car that I would drive. (SEARCH: Black Nissan Figaro).
Lastly I chose to run a 1/2 marathon on my own to really build an internal gauge of excellence for myself. By doing this alone, I stayed committed to my success and my training towards seeing myself through my blocks. Plus I had to do the race in San Diego because most races were sold out months in advance in Vancouver. So, since I was in Las Vegas for a Locking Camp, I decided to combine my running goal and deepen my relationship goal in one big trip. I was welcomed with loving arms by new friends and old friends who encouraged and loved me all throughout the way.
I don't know when living a full life would get old. I feel so excited to be alive for myself and purposefully for others. What I've learned that even through the rough patches, if I stay committed, even just the thought or a small step towards the things my heart wants, then I know I will always be able to find a solution to whatsoever obstacle that may come my way. This is how walking towards a life I want to continue to live looks like.
Many thanks to my friends who travelled emotionally with me through these past 90 days. I wouldn't have experienced it the same way!
I love you all!
DO WHAT MMMOOVESss You!
