🐊 Although in reality Sebek does not make an effort to want to discover anything beyond what you show and although you appreciate it, sometimes you really want Sebek to accept that Humans and Faes are not as different as they believe and as you have always defended.

I must say that this is my favorite so far, I am very fond of Mal-Mal, Silver and Lilia, so I put a lot of effort into this one, which is the last one in this series and request are officially open!

Things that come in my head as I play through Diasomnia's chapter (chp 135- 191):

Wait WHAT YOU CANT JUST LEAVE VIL TF DO WE HAVE TO DO THIS ALL OVER AGAIN?!

The fact that Vil has and continues to deal with his overblot so maturely is one of the reasons he's one of my favorite characters. He is not playing blame games, he is not going down the 'oh woe is me' track. Just taking accountability and doing what he needs to to be better. I have mixed feelings about his overblot version attacks though—

The moment vil said "horrible" I had a feeling that he was talking about the info video Idia made and I was right lmao

And now we meet Kalim! I like his outfit, that shade of teal and white really suits him. It also plays a nice homage to princess Jasmine and the sultan's signature outfit colors.

Kalim's father MADE a whole ass arcane academy to keep him close. As much as I'd like to joke about overprotective parents, a part of me wonders if the reason we're seeing this is because Kalim is homesick in twst's reality. Another reason could be to make sure that in case someone or something tries to hurt him, he'll be close enough to get immediate and the best aid money can buy. It could also be Malleus' own desire for families staying together slightly influencing the dream as well, considering that his perception of his fellow students and their desires does influence the dreams (as seen in Vil's case).

Okay my theory practically got debunked the next moment lol—

As much as I like seeing Jamil in those clothes and smiling, I would like my snarky snake boy back pls. I am so unsettled right now Jamil don't wink why are you winking—

Vil I love you, my queen I knew there was a reason I was drawn to you at the very start!!! Tell them your analysis on Jamil pls and get Kalim outta there!!

The Asim palace being relocated reminds me of the original Arabian Nights (One Thousand and One Nights) version of Aladdin where the evil magician tricks Aladdin’s wife into giving him the lamp by disguising himself and offering “new lamps for old.” Once he gets the magic lamp, he commands the genie to transport Aladdin’s entire palace, including the princess and all the servants, leaving an empty space where it once stood.

Black and red really suits Jamil. Also, student council president? Giving me mad Rollo vibes before the whole flower stunt he pulled.

Honestly the fight was long-overdue and much needed. It didn't really sit right with me how easily Kalim bounced back and accepted Jamil after the events of Scarabia's book, so I'm glad they addressed that here. Really shows how far our beloved boys have come ❤️

Ig its gonna be a trend for our ob boys to fight their overblots. I like Jamil's ob version attacks though.

Oh my god, Floyd just checked out of the dream manually because nothing he does is challenging? Guy's winning at life (in the dream atleast) no matter what he does and is bored because there's no unpredictable surprises or basically any obstacles for him to tackle, literally and figuratively. I love how his sprite just lazily drifts across the screen as the rest of them discuss what's wrong with him lol

I'm sorry, Floyd grabbed Riddle's hair, remarked it was red but not hot, and then promptly got thrown across the room on fire at their FIRST meeting? I don't know how this mer is still alive after that. The shenanigans this boy gets into i swear—

Im glad that the OB boys are getting the chance to interact with themselves at their lowest points and consciously make the choice to do better or do things at their own terms rather than ruled purely by emotions or guilt. That kind of rational reasoning, and to a certain extent embracing those parts of themselves without demonizing it or letting it take control entirely makes all of them feel so much more fleshed out as characters. Its really satisfying to watch, and to get to try their OB!form attacks against the phantoms, even if the entire process is a bit tedious.

Azul try not to flirt with Jamil for once challenge:

Jamil don't say that its not a 'forever farewell' like that you're gonna give him ideas.

Our main dream team (Silver, Sebek, Grim and of course, the Prefect) are running on adrenaline at this point. Sure, there have been some moments where they've relaxed, but i only hope none of them burn out by the end.
