hi!! as a full time night shifter, what i try to do (if ur schedule allows) is to stay up as late as i can the night before, then sleep during the day. sometimes its not really possible for me to do that, so (and my shift starts at 7) i’ll take a nap from like 12-4 during the day. idk if you’re working a stretch or just one shift, but during a stretch you’ll find after that first night it gets easier :) an eye mask is what i use as well !! and plenty of caffeine lol

7. What happened tonight?-

It was actually a pretty eventful night! My sister had a hard day and I've had a hard few weeks and my mom has been working 14 hour shifts everyday recently so we decided it'd be good to have a night out. We finally used our gift cards to a restaurant that my sister-in-law gave us for Christmas and had really yummy food. And then we went to a bookstore to browse around (my Mom bought herself a crotcheting book). It was a good night!

mm. like. i love buddie with all of my heart, but the scenes that are sticking out in my head from this episode, is all of the buck/bobby stuff (and the chris scene. that shit ruined me) it was that power of familial love, bobby finally openly saying that 'yeah buck is MY kid. he is.'

it is ok to take your shipper goggles off sometimes and enjoy other aspects of a show, especially one with such a strong found family element.
