hello!! just started playing the game and am already obsessed with the world building, ashti and xelef <3. i have a question about the romance though - does an unsteady romance mean a more angsty romance but with the same final outcome? or can an unsteady romance perma lock you out of any happy ending or the RO final route? i am slightly tempted to replay an unsteady romance (if only because i cannot. for some reason trigger a positive steady outcome in delal </3) but i don't want to risk the crown fumbling their baddie (and the kingdom while you're at it.....)

You're fine having an unsteady romance for now, but no, it will absolutely change the ending you get with your love interest.

The game has several moments where it checks where your relationship is at (and the description of your romance status can subsequently change between steady and unsteady). If, at the end of the game, a major chunk of these checks have been counted to be unsteady + your Crown has failed in a few pivotal romance choices, you WILL get the worst romantic ending.

At this point in the game you can still get unsteady checks and recover from them, however, so I wouldn't worry about it yet. So if you want to engineer a romance where there's a few unsteady moments for more angst/conflict with your LI, but ultimately you still end up with a happy ending, that will be possible to do!

Keep in mind the ending with your LI =/= the ending of your Crown as a ruler, however. So you can have a successful and great reign as the Crown for your ending, but also included in that end up with your Crown's love life in shambles haha

now that the game has finally been published (congrats!!!!! all the routes are so fun however me and aisa are now legally married) and spoiler free territory i must ask. what are the og parent's opinions (sol, haliya) of the lis. who are they inviting over for dinner repeatedly (....etza) and which one is technically softblocked (...probably kuna). bonus!! how are the lis reacting!! who's a pro at this and handling things sweet enough, who's panicking and buying a full bouquet of flowers and a full basket of fruit to bring !!!!

i would ask how mom feels about all the lis too but it's pretty clear how she feel in some of the routes atleast hgjkfguhij

haliyas favorite LI would be Etza. sol's favorite would be Druk. i think haliya would actually be most wary of Kayn out of all the LIs, given their romantic background before meeting MC. human LIs are actually automatically at a disadvantage when it comes to haliya LOL. for sol... i think it's not quite dislike but he has reservations against Fenir. not because fenir is a red flag but he comes across as meek so will have to prove himself a little more to sol.

for the LIs...... i think Kayn would do the most schmoozing and be the most natural at it. unfortunately this only serves to backfire more against haliya KXKSOOS. Druk is also a natural but it goes over better than Kayn. Fenir is a mess; haliya thinks it's kinda endearing, sol thinks otherwise. Etza is nervous but it has its own charm. they bring a gift (not a bouquet, something more personalized like something moon-like for haliya and sun-like for sol). haliya RLLY likes this. sol respects it

Kuna'a tries to keep it cool but you and haliya know them well enough to tell they're nervous even if they aren't aware of it. sol and kuna'a have that typical standoff of dad and partner. overall kuna'a walks away w like 2 extra points, not much but u gotta take what u can get KSKSK. Aisa takes the parental relationship Very Seriously. Lots of respect. sol actually prob ends up liking aisa second most out of the LIs. haliya too actually (only bc central gang is already at a disadvantage)

I just wanted to let you know that I came across this account after seeing this sick horror piece of old time churches, decinding to follow the page, and then realising that it was the same artist who'd written that sick comic on time travelling werewolves and vampires which I'd lost. and they're both t4t too ! effervescent

Honestly it is an extremely unfamiliar reality that someone could know me from multiple different things... Not sure what to do with that but I'm glad to have impacted you in small ways and I hope to continue to do so! So thanks for being here, I'm glad that fate brought us back together haha

‘The Dickensians’ & set design...

I am so enjoying the BBC serial ‘The Dickensians’ and the set design is amazing. In another life I think set design would be a job for me .. from designing in miniature to construction and painting in full size. On every visit to London one of my favourite sections in the V & A is the theatre costumes and set designs. Recently I came across a really good handbook for set design by Colin Winslow. However in the meantime I will have to make do with making a scale model of our railway station which should be finished in time for its 150th anniversary in 2018!
