@DickMacksPub was probably the best #IrishPub we found in #Ireland. This is saying a lot, as all of the pubs were a blast. From the live music to the dancing to just the general warmth of the people, they are so much fun. . #Dingle is a great town, with a lot of character and beautiful scenery taken right off the face of a postcard. And there's a great stretch of pubs along the Dingle Waterside, where most tourists will end up. However, Dick Mack's is a few blocks from this stretch, and we just had the good luck of happening to come across it. . Dick Mack's opened in 1899, and the history can still be felt throughout its interior with plenty of vintage decor and original signs. Half of the bar features a large selection of whiskey and beer, while the other half houses a leather shop that is still in operation today. The pub also features a traditional Irish Snug, which were commonly used through the 1960's to offer women an area within a pub to drink.
