Grian’s first crime was accidentally getting Scar killed.

His second was befriending him in a place where nothing was permanent.

God, this is a phenomenal fic. Literally my all-time favorite of 3rd Life fanfics. I reread it at least once a month. The characterization is amazing and I love the wing preening.

"I hate you" Wilbur stated, all too blunt and uncaring. 

There was a predictable pause in Ghostbur's enthusiasm, and Wilbur dared to tilt his head, to glance at the person next to him.

Ghostbur stared down at their blue friend, fingers stained in the same dye that trailed them everywhere they went.

Then, their hands continued moving, trailing through fluffy wool, and Wilbur scowled.

He never did care for that sheep, even when Tommy had insisted on it at his revival.

"That's alright. You're allowed to hate me" Ghostbur said, voice not quite joyful, but neither was it filled with the sorrow or sadness that Wilbur expected.

It sounded strangely like acceptance.

"And, just between you and me, I kind of hate you too."

I love this chat between Wilbur and Ghostbur. Just… talking.

Oh my god. I cannot fully explain how much I adore this fic. It’s the best fic about the apprentice arc I’ve ever seen. I love the dynamics and the slow escalation of the fic and the swapping POV and GOD I’m so excited for the final chapter!!

I really love how the conversation was framed and all the bits about Slade!!

Or, in a universe where Dick dies, his brothers secretly kidnap another Dick Grayson into their world. But that Dick Grayson has siblings too, and they’re searching for him.

The characterization in this is phenomenal and I just adore everything about this fic!
