You guys seemed to really like the CDD, DID, P-DID, C-DID, HC-DID, OSDD and UDD stars from the likes and what I saw in the inbox (shoutout to @the-complicity-system in inbox)
So! Send me any system-related flags you'd like as stars and star frames in the comments or in my inbox!
And! Here's a bonus Traumagenic flag star and star frame for you guys.
Okay, this may be a dumb question, but what exactly is a host in DID?
Maybe this is just us but we have a really difficult time identifying who is host. We have a "singletsona," a collective name we go by, a general idea of our overall personality, but we're not even sure that is a part that actually exists. It's more something we use when we are blurry and not sure who exactly is fronting, as opposed to an actual headmate.
We generally think of a host as the part who fronts the most, but in our system this is really difficult to identify because who fronts the most changes every few months based on what we need to be doing. (for example last semester TAB fronted the most because of our latin class, but now that the summer has rolled around it's mainly Raymond and Blaine). We don't know what to make of this.
Are hosts supposed to change this frequently, or is it that we are still in a traumatizing environment?
Is our definition of a host just incorrect? If so, what is the actual definition?
What is a host???
i really wish i had more friends who know about my DID.
i wish i could express my plurality to the people around me without fearing judgement or abandonment.
theres so many feelings, thoughts, experiences and more that i have that i desperately want to share with the people i care about but I can’t without outing the fact I have DID and i’m not ready to deal with their views of me changing, especially if they’re negative. :(
did culture is having thinking abt something n immediately getting a headache like whoops guess that was too close to the Forbidden Knowledge
It feels like when you get too close to the edge of the map in a video game and start taking damage 😭
did culture is having an alter form, they front once for three hours, then they dissappear for a two years and come back out of the blue from a niche pos trigger -AK 🗯
Omg true like "hey guys what'd I miss" ... a lot bro...
DID culture is having someone telling the system that they desperately want to front during therapy the next day so thye can introduce themself to our therapist and then not responding to my attempts to trigger them to front ........
rip guy but you brought this on urself, i tried
Ughh I'm still on the phase where I'm "missing" therapy appointments because someone doesn't want us to go 😭
