Hey, I was just wondering: Where does it say that Tifa is the mayor's daughter? Wasn't her father the photographer?

What? No. The guy in white was the photographer and he’s seen lying near the inn when the town is in flames. Tifa’s dad is dressed in cowboy style and inside the reactor, which is when you get the whole cut scene stuff.

When Sephiroth is tormenting Cloud about his identity, he goes over to the figure lying on the ground to get the photograph from his pocket. We can see Cloud in his grunt uniform lying to the right in what actually happened. After this scene, Cloud goes to the reactor, sees Tifa crying over her dad’s body and then taking Sephiroth’s sword.

Brian Lockheart never implicitly states his title, however, during a cut off OG dialogue he says “I’m the town’s...” which leaves space for an important title. Mayor is the only one that fits in this space given the situation context.

Also during the live show Taliesin misgendered Nott, she corrected Caduceus and said something about gender and he apologized and said something like "we'll have a talk about that later" and I was just 👀👀👀👀👀
