Hey! Thanks for being so open to answering questions about college! Any tips for someone going to college who will probably be one of the youngest people there? (I'm not in the US and there's no dorms but maybe just in general?) Thanks :)
Hey!! I started at a community college when i was 15, so i know what you’re going through! Honestly, most people didn’t realize how young I was unless I told them. Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself to people and hangout, even if they’re older than you. Just don’t feel pressured to do anything you’re uncomfortable with !Â
As for the academics, it’ll probably take some adjustment but you can totally handle it! Don’t be afraid to ask for help or go to office hours. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for being young, or try to intimidate you (but honestly I never experienced that). Overall, it’s not too different from high school if you’re living at home, so don’t sweat it! You’ll be great.
And if you have any more questions, please feel free to come chat!!Â
