The Third Day of Britannicus
Today I'm doing The Nero Files. The Nero Files is an episode in a larger show called Secrets of the Dead. In The Nero Files, they prove that Nero couldn't have done some of the bad things people say he did (@the-little-fox-in-the-box have you heard about it?). I watched The Nero Files and I found it quite interesting, but I personally don't know much about Nero so I can't speak on how much of it is trustworthy or not.
Anyway, they do talk about why Nero couldn't have poisoned Britannicus (an infinitely interesting topic to me. I can discuss this for hours. I dont think The Nero Files spent enough time on this). And by some miracle, Brit actually doesn't look like a 40 year old.
I would say that he does look a little bit too young. He's supposed to be 13 here, but he kind of looks like a seven year old. However, I did know a 13 year old who looked almost exactly like him so I wouldn't call it unrealistic just yet.
All in all, I actually quite like this. I think this was the only time a professionally made show or movie managed to make Britannicus look under the age of 18, which is good. And Brit does feel like Brit here. I don't know how to explain it. There is just a feeling inside me that goes "Huh, it's Brit." And I don't get that feeling very often when I see Brit being depicted in a movie or a show or something. So this is basically a miracle.
I'd say this is quite solid. Definitely the best depiction of Brit in a professionally made show or movie. I like Murena Brit better, but Nero Files Brit is a close second. I might like this depiction of him the most if he just looked a couple of years older. I normally prefer Britannicus to have really dark hair, but I make an exception for The Nero Files because I think light hair actually really suits him here.
I tried to look up his actor to see how old he was when he acted as Brit. I found him but not the year he was born in. Oh well. I'm guessing he was born in the late 2000's. The Nero Files is actually quite recent. I think it was made around four years ago, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
