A little headcanon on the Hargreeves siblings and what they give eachother for Christmas:
Allison: gives either very fashionable or very useful gifts, no need to be expensive (even if she does like to splurge in gifts) just something she knows her siblings would use often and like.
Klaus: knits them stuff: sweaters, socks, beanies, mittens, you name it! He once ended taking a course to “de-stress” one of the many time he got out of a rehab center and he got very into it, he loves going to those crochet specialized stores and get different types of yarn. Also, super unique cothes, we know the true king of alternative fashion.
Vanya: she likes to give very simple gifts. Sometimes she would play something with her violin, dedicating it to one of her siblings, they all love it (Diego cried, he denies it)
Ben: He picks books for them, gives Klaus a list and they go get them each a book depending of each sibling’s interest, still, he knows not all of them are big readers or mostly busy, so he also likes to give out CD’s and vinyl records (specially for Luther)
Diego: People don’t really expect much from him, which makes him a bit angry, but he really loves them and he doesn’t hold back on showing it. He gives very emotional thought through gifts. He once gave Klaus a beautiful chain to carry his tags with, he ended up wiping like a baby.
Luther: What do people even give to each other on Christmas? Honestly, this man is a mess he doesn’t have a clue. He gets them socks, maybe a card, scented candles? He really does try.
Five: oh Five, well, considering his life experience and vast knowledge of what may be a good gift, he goes on through that list over, and over and over again until he decides that’s useless, he would rather have them be prepared. He gets them survival items, from fire extinguishers to taser, limited edition weaponry because “rapists can climb”. Mood killer much, but they try to understand, the old man has seen a lot.
