Diet Instructions
Day 1 and 2: The Loading Phase 10 drops, 3 times a day This phase is essential during the HCG program. Users must consume as many high calorie foods as physically possible. Ingesting the high calorie foods will help prepare the body for the very low calorie diet and help stimulate the hypothalamus to attack the abnormal fat stores. Examples of high calorie foods include: fried foods, creamy pastas, ice-cream, pizza, chocolate and fast foods. Those users who do not eat to their full capacity report a feeling of lethargy (feeling tired) and hunger pangs during the first week of the protocol.
Day 3 and forward (21 – 40 days): The Very Low Calorie Diet 10 Drops, 3 times a day During this phase a very low calorie diet must be maintained. It is essential not to stray from the foods listed in this diet or ingest more than 500 calories. There will be two main meals during the day, lunch and dinner. Daily meals should always be eaten separately. If one meal is missed it is not advised to combine the two meals into one large meal. Each meal will include: 100 grams of meat (the meat must be weighed raw), 3 cups of vegetables and a melba toast or breadstick (30 calorie serving). You are also permitted to two fruits a day during this phase and they can be eaten with any meal, as breakfast or as a snack.

Dinner 100 grams of shrimp served on a bed of 3 cups of asparagus and one Melba toast.
Dessert/Snack Apple sliced and sprinkled with cinnamon and stevia.
Helpful Hints: If possible, use only oil free makeup products and lotions. Usually baby care items are a safe choice as they are a mineral-oil base. Check the labels of your beauty care items. If they do not contain oil then they are safe to use. Carmax is suggested for lip moisturizer. Avoid all other lip-glosses however; lip sticks are acceptable.
We strongly recommend all meals are prepared ahead of time. We have found it helpful to pre-weigh the meats raw, package them and store them in the freezer until you are ready to use them. You will be more likely to stick with the diet if you are organized and prepared. Weigh yourself daily. Weight loss should be approximately .5 – 2 lb a day. Weighing yourself is crucial to monitor your weight loss or catch a mistake which may have been made within your diet.
Maintenance Phase (21 day duration) No drops are taken
This is a crucial phase during the diet. If you immediately return to your old eating habits you WILL put the weight back on. It is very important to remain on the VLCD for three days without the drops. Following these three days you are permitted to introduce foods into your diet as long as they do not contain sugar or starch. Women may increase their caloric intake to approximately 800 calories and men may increase their caloric intake to approximately 1000 per day. If you cut the maintenance phase short you will notice a feeling of bloating and weight will be gained.
Continue to monitor your weight daily and if at any point you ever gain more than 2 lbs. from the last day of the VLCD then a steak day must be completed. This would include eating nothing but one steak and an apple all day. If you lose more than 2 lbs. an extra meal must be eaten. In order to maintain the weight loss this phase must be followed appropriately.
