Aaaannnndddd cue everyone chiming in to smugly brag about how THEY gave up all soda years ago and I should just do the same! lol
I was able to keep this down...that's a sign of improvement! Been really sick the last day, I think it was a stomach bug. But anyways I'm making progress. I've had half a powderade zero today, some diet 7 up, and a few strawberries, plus these pork rinds nachos. My heart rate has been crazy. I've burned over 3300 calories just laying in bed.....only 500 steps today. My heart rate finally started decreasing an hour or so ago back towards normal. I was told increased heart rate can mean dehydration so I've been trying to get my fluids in. I've also lost 11 lbs in a day from this sickness...not how I want to do it but it is what it is. It's crazy how your body can just bam all of a sudden become so sick. Thanks everyone for your helpful messages today. Means a lot ❤️. #stomachflu #ketosis #keto #ketonachos #porkrinds #lowcarbdiet #lowcarb #atkins #atkinsdiet #highfatlowcarb #lchf #lchffooddiary #sickness #poweradezero #electrolytes #dietsoda #healthynachos #ketomexicanfood #mexicanketo #macros #calorieburner #fitbitblaze #increasedheartrate #ketolifestyle #kcko #keepcalmandketoon #fitfam #nocarbs #sugarfree (at Janesville, Wisconsin)
Centuries upon centuries ago, in the days of the Mahabharata, the charioteer Krishna warned the archer Arjuna that whatever is like nectar at the beginning but poison at the end-- sweet with a bitter aftertaste-- is destructive to the body and mind. . . Yesterday, a study following thousands of subjects over the course of decades found that drinking artificially sweetened sodas lead to a higher risk of stroke, dementia in general, and Alzheimer's disease specifically. . . This is added to a growing list of evidence that diet sodas are really no good, which of course your taste buds have probably told you all along. . . . #mahabharata #dietsoda #krishna #arjuna #stroke #dementia #alzheimers #cohortstudy (at Kurukshetra)

The battle for dominance in the Indian beverage industry has intensified as Coca-Cola and PepsiCo introduce their ₹10 no-sugar drinks to challenge Reliance Consumer’s Campa Cola. With the growing demand for low-calorie soft drinks, these brands are launching affordable and healthier alternatives to attract health-conscious consumers.
Why the Sudden Focus on No-Sugar Drinks?
With rising health awareness, sugar-free sodas are gaining popularity. Consumers are shifting towards diet beverages, and brands are capitalizing on this trend by offering zero-calorie soft drinks in small, budget-friendly packs. According to market experts, the move aims to increase accessibility and boost sales among price-sensitive Indian consumers.
The ₹10 Strategy: What’s New?
Both Coca-Cola India and Pepsi India have introduced their diet and light beverages in compact packaging at a competitive price of ₹10. Some of the major launches include:
Coke Zero
Sprite Zero Sugar
Thums Up X Force
Pepsi No-Sugar
Meanwhile, Reliance’s Campa Cola has been making a strong comeback with its nostalgic branding and competitive pricing. The inclusion of a no-sugar variant at ₹10 has further intensified the competition.
Who Will Win the Market?
While Coca-Cola and PepsiCo have the advantage of strong global presence and brand loyalty, Campa Cola is banking on its nostalgic appeal and aggressive marketing strategies.
