You can use what's happening inside of a character's mind to tell a bit more about the story and to give you the idea of like how even if the character doesn't want to admit something, there's a little worm struggling inside them that wants to tell the truth.

I always choose to tell Ifan that I don't drink. Then the dialogue in the undertavern will be more cute. He didn't just want a drink. He wants to be in the company of "his favourite Godwoken" 💙
