2025 Trope Reveal!

It's time for another Romione Trope Fest!!

We will begin accepting submissions on February 1st, and reveals will begin on March 1st!

This year, we are doing reveals a bit differently. Rather than posting two fics per day, we will post ALL the fics of a specific trope each day. Reveals will last one week only, and no waiting around -- prepare to be bombarded by tropey goodness.

All fics must be submitted directly to Tumblr by following this link. We also have an unrevealed Ao3 collection that you're welcome post in, but all Ao3 posts will be hidden until their Tumblr release date.

I have a fic rec for Harry Potter

Warning: This fic is incomplete and posted anonymously.

With that out of the way, this is one of my top 5 favorite fanfics of all time, ever. It’s the only Harry Potter fic there.

The character that changes the most here is Draco (and Pansy), but everyone else is slight enough to be believable. It’s their choices and relations that change the story. (Like most good fanfics)

Now, there are no ships, but if you’re a fan of Dramione or Pansmione or Drarry or even Ronmione, you could definitely read it with those in mind. All the characters have very interesting dynamics with each other.

The houses thing: You won’t be able to unsee it.

Finally, he reached it and climbed on it. His heart beat in his throat. He felt the figure behind him move and a wide shape got lowered over his head. Before it fully sat on his hair it shouted: “SLYTHERIN!” The Sorting Hat got lifted up immediately, but nonetheless Remus heard it whisper: “Dark Creatures belong into dark dungeons.” Bigoted piece of fabric, Remus thought. _Remus is a Slytherin and thinks Sirius is an annoying, immature brat. Sirius hates all Slytherins and is determined to hate Remus, too. But disliking each other becomes harder the better they get to know each other.

Comment: This felt like such a classic oldschool marauders era fic, I loved Remus and Sirius working on the map together, and I don't think I've ever read a slytherin Remus fic before but now I want more!

Please have all submissions posted by midnight EST on Friday Feb. 28th.

(..though it's technically March 1st if it's midnight, right?)

As far as reveals go, just a reminder that we will be posting all of the creations submitted for one trope each day. We will determine the order of the tropes once we have a final count (or as final as it can be) so it will be a surprise each day!

The trope of the day reveal will drop at 8:00 am EST, and fics will be released for that trope by order of submission every half hour after that.

There are so many amazing submissions so far, and we can't wait to see what's still to come! You all are amazing and truly, we couldn't do it without you.
