also lrb as an artist you are also like an audience member as well you know. i think people focus a lot on their own work esp if they share it frequently or post and want things to be like "worthy" i guess which is understandable and everything but you also look at other artists probably every day probably constantly if you're on socials and i know that as much as i love illustrations if i see nice art i don't go "Oh but it's on a plain background and they're just standing there so who cares" like i LOVE no backgrounds and headshots only and sketch dumps and screenshots straight from the art program and sketchbooks honestly sometimes i even prefer it bc it puts the focus on the subject and not the setting dynamicism doesn't = an action shot either like it just means it's interesting to look at. a character sitting on the ground could be a dynamic pose. like i've truly never thought anything like that. but we think it for ourselves .. so sillies. alas.
i am actually literally crying watching the new episode of shameless. literally crying because that scene of lip and helene sitting on the hotel bathroom floor is everything A B S O L U T E L Y everything i cant even handle this oh my god
To be honest, i think they had something going on back when they met and then broke it off.
idk… like, i get why people have that idea when comparing 2009 to 2012… but, i can’t imagine them living together for so long after breaking up?
I mean, of course, it’s not impossible to continue being close after breaking up but… i can’t imagine exes being as cosy/openly affectionate as d+p appear to be now, you know???
but yeah there is certainly something different about 2009 and 2015 phan and i don’t think it’s solely bc they are different people (especially dan) now…
