After a Monday of travel and recuperation, our PAX East is fully complete! We had a good time returning to the Indie Megabooth for our last PAX showing before launch.
Our demo this year focused on the large church in the center of Freedom Town. We once again ran our "One Life One Shot" challenge - this was something we introduced at last PAX East, where players had to complete the demo on the hardest difficulty of "Mole" in one try (per day) in order to win our pin set. This year we added some complications, like you also had to complete a task for KeeAnne (who you meet early in our demo). I was originally worried that the demo was not difficult enough, but turns out it's plenty hard. We had around four people complete the challenge, a decrease from last year, so let this be a lesson to all developers - your game is harder than you think!
This year we got to host "Chip", a photojournalist who likes to go to some dangerous places, told visitors about his own experiences down in Battuela. Also, during setup, our artist Eka (currently getting ready to launch his own game, Falcon Age) stopped by to prove that his jacked blends in perfectly with our tablecloth. Fitting because, you know, it's an infiltration game...
