What a Goddamn shift this was turning out to be.

Jay had already had to deal with a few catcalls from women, a few dishes being sent back, spills, cleaning duty, and not to even mention the fact that he had been caught smoking out back by his manager. Bullshit.

Nevertheless, dressed as Paul Anka ( he used to love the guy before working at Jack Rabbit Slim's ) , he approached the man and offered no smile. Instead, he placed a menu down and readied his notepad with a quiet sigh.

"I'm Paul, I'll be serving you tonight. What can I get'cha?"

Pink still wasn’t used to all the differences in the PAYDAY gang’s operations and the Dogs.

While he was struggling to move a cashbag to the back, he couldn’t help but hear a strange mechanical whirring; thinking it  just some issue in the wiring or pipes as he passed them. 

To his surprise, a screech rang i his ears before someone kicked him in the face; disorienting him enough to barely register the man picking him up and throwing him down on his back.

As soon as he hit the ground, Pink struggled to whip his handgun out and aim it at his attacker; screaming several almost unintelligible things before finally getting out a  “What the fuck?!”

She thought she’d heard wheezing as she was doing her last minute scan of the jewel vault, only to hear a voice muttered a couple of seconds later. 

Clover followed the sound to see a Cloaker of all people slumped down, gripping his side. She wanted to just shoot him. Why couldn’t she just shoot him?Goddamn her conscience. 

As she couldn’t help listening to his pitiful breathing; she crept over and put her pistol to his  neck. “Alright boyo.. I’m gonna need you to take off your helmet, radio, and weapons...”

He gives a slight grin, blood trickling down his lip. Sokol’s been through a lot, and this was just the tip of the iceberg. They aren’t getting rid of him that easily. He’s a strong man, like a big bear. Yeah. That sounds good to him.

Henry was at the back of the shop bagging the gems when he heard the familiar whirring of a cloaker’s gear-                                                     -a couple of seconds too late.

He dropped the bag he was working on only to feel someone grab his arm and wrench it behind him; his chest and masked face slamming into the wall. 

A hoarse wheeze and groan before he started tensing his arm and gripping th wall with his free arm trying to push himself up so he could breath.

He tried kicking back with one of his legs.

He immediately whipped around to face the cop-no.. Cloaker- He’d recognize that scarred up face anywhere. He’d ripped off the man’s helmet before in hand to hand fighting with him during a heist. 

Shit. 

Jimmy insisted they go on, as he was pinned and didn’t want them caught and arrested. Now as he was trying to flee the scene he was met by this asshole? 

…Great.

Dallas was on guard in the long hallway to the guard room in the museum. Houston had things covered in the room hacking the computers while Chains and Sokol were destroying Gensec left and right in the other corridors. 

He had heard the cloaker’s strange mechanical sounds only moments before he felt a very sharp pain in the back of his leg and hit the floor. As he turned to shoot at the man,  pain exploded in the leg as he essentially curb stomped his left leg over the slight step down in the doorway, causing him to scream out in pain.
