Hey everyone!
Tomorrow (or today in some parts already!) is finally Odaiba Memorial Day aka the day to celebrate when Taichi and co. first arrived into the Digital World in 1999. Over the years, Digimon fans in Japan and across the world have celebrated 01/08 as ‘Digimon Memorial Day’ or ‘Odaiba Memorial Day’, the former usually have meet-ups all around Odaiba and Hikarigaoka on the day while the latter (which is us) who can’t always be in Japan gather online to show our love and support through pictures, fanarts, edits, writing etc.
Tomorrow is an extremely special Odaiba Memorial Day, because for the first time DigiFes will be streamed live online for all to see! Since it is a live stream, subtitles will not be available, so it may not be easy for fans who do not understand Japanese to enjoy the event, but I believe that every view counts and it’s a great opportunity for all of us to show how much Digimon matters outside of Japan.

If you watch the stream, and have questions about some specific parts or want to know who said what at certain times, you can drop a message and I will answer it after the stream ends. Since it is a live event, I can’t take on the responsibility of translating or interpreting it simultaneously but I will try to post a summary after it ends.
