As I mentioned previously, my dad is getting into Minecraft for the first time ever. He's having a bit of trouble with resources. He's got no bed, no iron, and precious little coal...
...and yet he's already figured out several ways to kill endermen and has more than 10 of their pearls.
If anyone's wondering what it's like gaming with my dad, that sums it up pretty well.
Me: did you hear DC said batman doesn't give oral sex?
Dad: what? Of course he does! I'm sure he practices it with the same ruthless precision he does everything else, until he's honed it to a fine art.
My Dad: I can use this to find the frequency these radios use. Then we'll know if using them is a federal crime
Me: Oh like it would be the first time you got in trouble with the FCC...
Dad: I have NEVER gotten in trouble with the FCC.
Me: OK, it wouldn't be first time they came looking for you.
Dad: They never came looking for me personally... They came investigating an "incident".
Me: ...that you caused.
Dad: That I caused, yes.
Dad: you know what the English say about rats?
Me: shampoo them real nice and they'll run for parliament?
Dad: I was gonna say "you're never more than 10 feet from a rat", but...

Handed my dad something on a paper plate to microwave for me, and when I got it back the bottom of the plate was covered in notes about translating something through space in minecraft.
