The entire Beatbreak serial killer thing reminded me of this picture I have painted myself actually back in like 2012 for Digimon Battle Generation, the sequel to Digimon Alpha Generation. I mean it is edgy as fuck, I guess, though I actually do like how this image turned out.

For context: in Battle Generation there is a kid who starts using their partner Digimon to murder their bullies, which is a good bit of the first 13 episodes or so. It does not end well.

I thought I uploaded this picture before, but I somehow cannot find it. Then again the tumblr search is still very much broken, so who knows? It is an old commissioned artwork. I honestly do not even know who had drawn it back then.

This is Denrei, the protagonist of my Digimon fanseries, Digimon Alpha Generation. Going through some old art. You might have seen this pic before as I use it in the header for the fanfic updates often enough.

This is an old gift that I received from Riza23 back in the day when there was a very active Digimon FDD community on DevArt (before it was taken over by bots). Riza and I both had a Digimon Tamers sequel fanseries, with the fun being that his protagonist got together with Ruki, while mine got together with Shaochung. We exchanged a bunch of stories and the like. And this was one pic he drew of Denrei (my OC), his OC, Shaochung and Ruki.

I am by now close to finishing uploading the English version of Digimon Alpha Generation, and found this going through my old files.

Chiupumon [Oh god, this is old]

I translated the next chapter for Digimon Alpha Generation today, which is finally giving Kayako and Chiupumon their final evolution. It made me get out this picture again.

See, Chiupumon is a Digimon I designed just when Tamers released. You know, like a ton of other kids I designed my own Digimon in the hope it would become real like Guilmon. xD For me this was Chiupumon, the little flying teddy bear.

The more elaborate design above was done by Neo Arch Angemon on DevArt, who did a lot of really fucking amazing Digimon designs back in the day. I did then the coloration myself (this pic dates to 2007, I do not even know what program i used, just that it was not photoshop).

Also, I guess there was something very gender in me giving Kayako a Digimon that turned into a very masculine form.

I just found this picture again. Riza did it back in the day as a commission. It was a picture for the sequel to Digimon Alpha Generation. Characters from top to bottom: Ryou, Ruki, Takato, Steve, and Shoji. I am kinda looking forward to translating Battle Generation.

Translating Alpha Generation currently, I am really surprised that a lot of it still works. But I know that in Battle Generation I was working way heavier with themes and stylistic devices. And I loved the drama between those five characters here.

The final actual episode of Alpha Generation is online now. There will be the epilogue going online with the first episode of Battle Generation in two weeks. Though next week I will not be able to post!

Before the year ends, let me upload this little fanart, that I had commissioned 2011. (Holy shit.) This is the original upload on DevArt.

This is my Digimon OC Denrei and Shaochung, in a homage to the fic in which they get together. Denrei is the main character of my fanseries Digimon Alpha Generation. And yeah... him and Shaochung have a bit of an unintended will-they-won't-they going on.
