Digimon Adventure - Crests

Another upload of something I did a long while go: The crests for Digimon Adventure. Yes, I am kinda aware that it is kinda ironic to upload this in the same week where I also post the vent on how overrated I think the concept of crests is.

But I really gotta say: going through the old collection of stuff I did for this, I kinda really want to paint the things that I have not yet done. Meaning: The chinese V-Pets and the one V-Pet I never did.

I kinda forgot how much fun this kinda stuff was. lol

Digimon Survive Crests

In deciding what crests to give them, I basically picked a colour first and then justified my reasoning later. Honestly this is more for aesthetics than anything reasonable - if you look at my art and fics over the last 2 years, you might notice I've been using specific colours and words for each kid.

Courage - Minoru (bc orange)

Friendship - Takuma (bc blue)

Love - Kaito (bc red are you sensing a pattern here?)

Knowledge - Miu (bc purple, also I never like giving knowledge to the most academic person on the team)

Sincerity - Aoi (bc she gives her all + 200%)

Purity - Saki (bc green)

Hope - Ryo (bc yellow gotta match with Kunemon)

Light - Shuuji (bc pink)

Also, I chose their crests according to the quality they were lacking/misusing when they died. 'Cept you know who

Destiny - Miyuki

Miracles - Haru

Moments I love from Digimon Adventure (1999) - [2/?]

Speaking of loving to see characters lose their temper and being so overwhelm that lead them to rushed or wrong decisions: Taichi downfall that concludes with (and teaches us about) the corrupt evolution: SkullGreymon. Iconic, traumatic maybe.

Taichi deals with a similar situation of guilt as in his past, that will lead him to a mental/emotional state that is my next moment that I love, for next post

(I added captures of these moments in the official Novel, for more insight in text form, is pretty cute, and has some hints of the next post.)
