The Hierophant, 2022
"the wooden pew is soft and rotten beneath you, the bible swollen and waterlogged. The warm air smells of moss and myrrh, and the violet grow lights hum softly. Your head feels fuzzy and you begin to drift off thinking about how wonderful it would be to become part of his flock... "
This is by far my favorite piece I've made. I started it almost immediately after the empress, deciding on the tarot theme for my printmaking final in undergrad.
