So you guys ever heard of Will Wood? Yeah me neither.

It was a whole new sound and now it's in Lego form! I finally made another Lego Will Wood set after a year and 5 days! This probably took like a few weeks to make however i am a professional procrastinator so whoops!

Wow look at those guys go! I had a lot of fun designing this though unfortunately i don't really think this set could exist in the real world without some real major changes like most of these parts just straight up exist (no brick modified 1x2 with masonry profile in very light gray!?! what ever shall we do!?) however Studio 2.0 does a button that converts most of the non-existent pieces into real pieces

and it allows you to see how much the set would cost and let me tell you this thing would cost a pretty penny at $1095 dollars and 74 cents. Yowzers that's def a lot of money. My guess is that the minifigures are mostly responsible the huge price. (41 dollars for some olive green pants with black boots!?) Also the fact this set is made up with about 2987 pieces. That also might be partly why.

Anyway here's some more stuff

You can see the top two images as tiny photos in the Better than the Alternative room. Originally the third image would also be included but I thought that one brick with the screaming old man was really funny so Normal Will got left behind. Originally the therapy scene from the Love Me Normally music video would've been part of the main build but I couldn't really find a good spot to put it in so it was scrapped.

i dont remember why Memento Mori Will is sideways. I know it was an intentional choice.

I could only find one version of the night mic logo so I decided to recreate it but really quickly i decided to put my own spin on it instead of trying to make an accurate version. Since it's Lego and stuff I tried censoring it a bit but y'know uhhhh

I also had the idea to include the documentary crew from the Real Will Wood movie but I had the idea like realllyyyy late so I didn't really have a spot for them so I just opted to include Chris Dunne on the Love me normally section

actually typing this out i probably could've included them in like the hallway on the first floor but oh well

DLD Community Have Turned 7!

Today marks 7 years since I've created my Digital LEGO Designers community, where I gathered like-minded folks who enjoy digital brick building and sculpting who sought to have a safe, LGBTQIA+ friendly space to share their works! Thank you my friends for being part of this journey!

I had painfully cold fingers after waiting outside a locked building for the class that I had in there to start, but, fortunately, I am a lego MOCist, I have stud.io on my laptop, and am able to provide warmth for myself by using said software's render feature.

It seems dumb to finally follow up on this after a long time... But here's my Custom series 11 set of Mixel tribes. I accidentally fell behind on here and forgot to keep sharing like a dummy, especially since I'm getting prouder of my designs as I go.

The Scubroz

The Scubroz are a tribe of deep sea exploration Mixels who double as fishermen in their spare time. While some are capable of walking, they often feel more at home in the sea.

Dyvor is the brave and boastful trident welding leader, who claims he and his reformed Nixel companion have fought many fierce sea monsters. Though the tall tales he spins rarely have proof to back them up.

Marino is a very sturdy little Mixel, with a shell that can withstand higher oceanic pressure than even his tribe mates. The only problem is he's scared of the dark, so he's often deterred from trying to scope out deep ocean trenches.

Phinn is a simple Mixel, as it doesn't take much to please him. He loves his job because he gets to catch plenty of fresh fish to eat. Disgustingly though... He also seems to live drinking fish oil.

The Medix Cousins

Similar to how I made a cousins tribe in series 10, I decided to do one here too. Oddly enough despite my awkward fear of doctors and dentists, the Medix are my favorite tribe. I like how each one can basically be a specialist if you're Creative enough.

Chexxup is a general doctor who keeps various vaccines and medical notes and supplies in the drawers in his belly. He idolizes the lead Surgeon, Surgeo, and even hopes to be as good a doctor as his idol one day.

Optix may lack arms, but this chatty optometrist is still good at his job, and helping Mixels and now even Nixels find the glasses and contacts they might need.

Krutch is an emergency response Mixel. He can appear clumsy and unorganized on his way to an accident... But the moment a patient is placed on his stretcher his pace and movement become as smooth as butter.

The Sky Skwad

This tribe of high flying Mixels are mostly for Ariel exploration... But they often act as stunt pilots. They just love flying,and sometimes they love doing it dangerously.

Jettz is the thrill seeking leader of the tribe who's always ready to take on any challenge. It often becomes difficult to talk him out of something dangerous though...like flying through a hurricane.

Choppa is the oldest of the tribe. Once a huge daredevil himself, he's started slowing down in his old age. He often tries to stop his tribe mates from doing something extremely dumb and dangerous, but deep down he still has that stuntman attitude.

Spitzer is the wide eyed young buck of the tribe. This wide eyed young pilot looking up to Jettz in particular given his tendency to try very tricky flying maneuvers without much practice. Luckily he's a gifted flyer, it's the take offs Nd landings where he tends to get clumsier.

As a bonus, these Nixels here come with Dyvor, Krutch and Choppa.

Another follow up! This time the custom series 12 of my fan made Mixel MOCS. I actually posted a beta version of sorts of the first tribe here before. But it's been ages, and it's easier to save the digital versions than it is the physical ones... At least to me lately.

The Chingblings

A tribe themed around money and wealth. Most would pick a name with "Bank" or "money" in the title somewhere. But my idea was a mix of "Cha-ching" and "Bling".

Bankzer is the leader of the Chingblings and one of the wealthiest Mixels in Mixopolis. While frankly he has a lot of money to flaunt... He's still generally loved as he spends a good deal of it on actual charity work, paying fair wages, Investing in small businesses, and public services. He can be a little frivolous from time to time, but he still thinks of others more than himself.

Sayfe is Bankzer's loyal bank guard. He makes sure the money is locked up nice and tight, and he opens up for no one other than Bankzer. He prides himself in his loyalty and his sense of duty... But secretly he does have one weakness he's ashamed of. His vault door loosens up if someone finds a tickle spot.

Munnie is Bankzer's pet piggy bank-like Mixel. He's always adorably sniffing around and picking up loose coins he comes across as a small habit. However he is jumpy,and he'll drop all of the change he's carrying if he's startled.

The Newzers Cousins

Similar to 10 and 11, I made a third cousins tribe too. Though I have been working on making cousins for all the canon tribes who didn't get any. Since the original Newzers are based on T.V. news, these guys are based on alternative news sources.

Zignal is a radio news host with a smooth and jazzy voice that Mixels and good Nixels alike are all happy to tune into. His morning show is always a joy to listen to as he reports the weather, traffic, and the occasional juicy morning time news.

Jurnall is a plucky young investigative reporter for the newspaper division of the Newzers. He doesn't wait for stories to come to him, he's always eager to find them himself. He asks lots of questions in rapid succession so be careful while talking to him.

Typpo is a internet journalist and script editor for the Newzers who's shy and reserved. They don't really talk much and tend to mumble a lot... They spend most of their free time browsing the web for fanfiction of their favorite shows and games to read.

The Krook Krew

Because the M.C.P.D. ought to stay on their toes. If not all Nixels are bad anymore, than not all Mixels are good. Not that these guys are evil... They just like causing mischief and stealing things.

Krime is the cunning leader of the tribe, able to fly silently through the night... His only flaw is that he can be stubborn, and he'll stop at nothing to get whatever it is he wants, be it a simple cookironi or a beautiful diamond.

Blastor is the demolitions expert of the team. What's a good heist film without one? He and his Nixel buddy are great at smuggling explosives in case he and the others are caught and in jail too.

Loxxit is quiet and reserved. He's no nonsense and he gets the job done, which Krime highly respects. This Mixel serves as the lock picker, but Krime also trusts him to carry any stolen loot and keep it safe. Something Loxxit is also great at.
