(I'm trying to grow my art account so any retweets would help me a lot :] thanks for all the support everyone)
this one is about felling desperately sad and miserable and only having the fantasy world to count on. Also the digital characteristics of the illustration tell about how i used to escape to that fantasy world drawing on my computer, exploring Krita's effects
I've finally truly realized the value of going literally everywhere without headphones. It's incredible how many more original thoughts emerge when you can just sit with yourself in the quiet, without being constantly surrounded by this senseless digital noise. Putting on headphones is a way of tuning out the world, and why would I choose not to experience it in its entirety? The possibilities are endless! Let's strive to be our true, untamed selves!
Have a canvas set up. I use FireAlpaca with a 2000x2000 canvas.
Have black selected as your primary color and white selected as your secondary color (this is default). Go to the Filter menu and select Cloud.
After a second it will generate cloud noise like so.
Duplicate layer.
Go to Filter and add a bit of Gaussian blur [on the top layer that you have selected]. For this one I used around 8 pixels of blur but you can do less or more.
Set [top layer's] blending mode to "Difference"
It will look very dark. That's OK. Merge the layers.
Then duplicate that layer and set it's blending mode to "Add". Then merge it again.
It might look ever so slightly brighter.
Do this part over and over again until it looks bright enough to you. Duplicate, set to "Add", merge.
You can do it more to make it more bright if you want to.
That's it basically. Zooming in, you can see the strange texture it has produced.
Just for fun here are some versions with even more brightness :)
