Since I'm stranded at a truck stop most of the day (bus travel) I've chosen a spot of shade in the corner of the truck lot - the only one really apart from under the building awnings - and I doubt anyone will bother me here. There is a waste treatment outfall next to me so the scent of sulphur and garbage juice wafts out into the parking lot creating a stench shield around me. Indeed I'm enduring the smell but really I have no choice; the only seating in the travel plaza is a set of two benches really meant for restaurant-goers awaiting their tables. I'd be a fried egg in the sun so I'm over by the sewer smoking and snacking till hours from now when my bus gets here
