What is Lamp’s, (or Laurie, as I really like that name) role in don’t love me I’m lost?
A question I’ve been thinking about for a while considering that he is a member of the poly. But this au would take place BEFORE he joined. I think Laurie would have a crush on Colin, and actually find out what happens to him
He would be HEARTBROKEN when he learns about ‘Greivosse’ and want to make things right. Likely making a lot of visits to the cult, and even try (and fail) to join as a member to get closer to her (in reality he’s just trying to get her outta there) maybe he tries to remind her of her past
Now what does Shrignold think of this?
Shrignold is.. conflicted to say the least. He feels HORRIBLE over everything, but believes that it is for the best. He tries to think Greivosse is happier this way (she is at first, but when Laurie shows up she starts stressing out, the opposite of what he’s trying to do) He also battles with internal homophobia and transphobia, thinking “I’ve never had thoughts of another man like that” -> “wait what about Colin? He’s a man” -> “no, Greivosse is a lady! But these are feelings about a real man!” (Shrignold you cannot say that bro 😬)
Greivosse is dealing with her own shit meanwhile. But that’s for another day
