Digitwst things…

My main digitwst AU focuses on the freshman and in that AU I gave Ace a Funbeemon bc I knew in an Adventure style AU it’d be a big help having someone for air travel and decided that Ace would get that privilege, and wouldn’t you know it I’ve gotten attached. So, on the left is him with a PawnChessmon, who I think he’d have based off theming and on the right we have digitwst Ace with his Funbeemon

Savannaclaw + Cheka and Yuuka digimon lines

Leona Kingscholar: Yes, yes, Leomon would be the obvious choice, however I think that Liollmon and Liamon fit him much better. Also, SaberLeomon was originally a perfect level as shown in Adventure 1999 where Leomon (champion) digivolves to SaberLeomon and it would make more sense for it to be a regular evolution than a warp evolution, but later on it got upgraded to a mega level, but uh I like using it as a perfect. Plus it helps bridge the gap from Liamon to BanchLeomon much better than like GrappuLeomon or smth lol. And BanchoLeomon just fits

Ruggie Bucchi: Gazimon is obvious. I don’t need to explain it lol. Fun fact! One of Gazimon’s main evolutions (according to the bolded text in Wikimon lol) is Leomon! Which is very funny and connects back to Leona, but I couldn’t give him Leomon straight up, and so I eventually decided on MadLeomon. I also knew I wanted to give him a Cherubimon (Vice), it just fit him I feel, so that probably helped with the MadLeomon pick. Andiramon is mostly just there to fill the gap. Also, despite the myriad of “dark Digivolutions” I promise they’re very close. Please feel free to imagine the classic “character B goes rouge and character A gets hurt while calming them down” very Yuujin and Shutmon, if you’ve watched appmon (side note: if you like digimon but haven’t watched appmon yet please please please do it’s sooo good don’t let the appmon and cgi get you down please it’s so good) Is that scenario ooc for Ruggie? Yeah, probably. But like, the bond between partners and all that

Jack Howl: Gaomon just felt like it fit, plus Data Squad/Saver’s Gaomon feels very similar to Jack in personality. Shifting to the Gabumon line because, again, it fits well. There’s probably other/better picks compared to FenrirLoogamon, but I gave Sebek a Kazuchimon and I like the idea of them potentially being able to fuse, even if that fusion is quite a lopsided “fusion” lol. Also! Gaomon is actually apart of the Gazimon species! So I like that all three of them are connected like that

Cheka Kingscholar: Leomon is so so obvious, and Elecmon is the defacto rookie for Leomon, so those were obvious. I didn’t really know where to go, so I kinda just slapped on GrappuLeomon and the subsequent HeavyLeomon on at the end lol. I decided to give him the same him the same baby and in-trainings as Leona to show how much he loves Leona. I do feel like I could’ve given him only one baby I/II form, and give a baby I/II what Falena would have, but uh. I’m not giving Falena a line. Just say that the Leomon is that reference lol

Yuuka Hirasaka: I’ve already gone into detail for her line, so just go here for it

And uh, yeah no Kifaji is not getting a line. To old or something lol

Another twst x Digimon drawing! Yippee!

I think that Pristimon fits him very well, and so does Wolvermon. I want to give all the Heartslabyul members at least one chessmon to line up with the cards as best I can, so he can get a RookChessmon, specifically the white version bc Cater is partially based off the King of Hearts, and the KingChessmon is a white piece and also I think it’s fun to divide the colors evenly. Like, Ace gets PawnChessmon (Black), and Riddle gets QueenChessmon (Always black) and so Trey can have BishopChessmon (Black) but then Deuce gets PawnChessmon (White) & Cater gets RookChessmon (White) and to round it out Yuuken gets KnightChessmon (White)

However, I really like the idea of him with a Numemon going into a Monzaemon, I think it’s fits him very well! Plus I’ve given Ruggie a line full of “dark digivolutions” even though I imagine him and his partner are very close, so I think Cater having a Numemon fits. Like, his mental state is that bad it reflects onto his partner or smth idk I like it. And so I gave him a split evolution, ending with ShinMonzaemon either way

Also! I don’t plan on giving most family members lines, like I gave Cheka one, and I wanna give Najma one, but I don’t plan to give one to everyone, HOWEVER! I really like the idea of his sisters having the Hanimon and Shoemon lines. A family of puppets lol. I also hc Crystal as twisted from Cinderella’s glass slipper bc even though I don’t really believe in the Caterella theory/hc, I still think it’s a fun concept, so yeah

Also I’m not done with the Heartslabyul lines, Trey I’m looking at you, so yeah. I do have two lines for Deuce, one that fits him and one for my Digitwst AU focusing on the freshmen as typical isekai digimon protags, like I did for Ace, and that’s up on my account somewhere, and I do have a Riddle line I don’t think I posted it. So yeah, it’s really just Trey tripping me up. Might not even give him a full line when I get to him lol. Deuce’s probably be next to draw
