This was our first band (*NOT Christian Guinet’s, he was in Paris Seeds’ influenced band, the FARMERS, nor Ludovic Boulet’s who was previously in that other Garage-punk band, SPIDER AND THE FLIES! But me and my brother Olivier Hussenet’s... ) in the then current Garage-Punk/ 60's Punk mode of the mid-Eigthies when every Punk rocker discovered Pebbles and Back From The Grave, and tried their hand at it... We, the Tribe in Paris were not the first, but from late 1988 to early 1990, we had our Music Machine gear in line and proceeded to record the soundtrack to a video clip that was bankrolled and produced by French Tv cameramen with a mind of plugging us on the screen of a then popular talk show called : "Lunettes Noires Pour Nuits Blanches" in the style of Lou Reed's and spirit of Iggy Pop's "Night Clubbing" MC-ed by popular TV Personnality (and ex. 60's Club DJ ) Thierry Ardisson in their "Indies" section... Alas, the show went off-air before we could have a chance to get viewed! However, since it was our first studio recording as a band (for me and my bro, it was our first band even! ), we took on the opportunity to record enough songs for a projected first single that never happened; 5 cuts were recorded in all, all covers of Classic 60's Garage-Punk songs of which one was selected for the video soundtrack that is now something of a Cult clip on YouTube... 📹🎞📼🎤🎸🥁🎶📀#garagepunkrock #garagerocknroll #digthefuzzrecords #lunettesnoirespournuitsblanches #lunettesnoirespournuitblanche #60sgaragepunk #aintnofriendofmine #thesparkles #theswamprats #garedemontparnasse #danslemetroparisien (à Gare Montparnasse) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0oO_PDgohs/?igshid=dx8ok67pj0e3
