2020 is such a bizarre time in all of our lives. Fortunately, thanks to a friend’s parent’s cabin, the girls and I got to leave our apartments to look different walls. Outdoor in Colorado for a week and only saw one of these Mariposa-lily wildflowers among all the others. It was a reward for challenging myself to climb to the top of an overlook that is probably a hill for others, a small mountain for me. Beautiful and simple in a very complicated, fearful, and hate-filled world, I am reminded to stay focused on what is good.
