Yesterday's artist talk. To experiment is to try new things. Whether it succeeds or fails, the significance lies on in the attempt to face the fear of possible disappointment. Bringing strangers together (with different background and practices at that) to come up with a project could result into a catastrophic clash of egos, a fiasco of stylistic collisions or a conflict of creative directions. On the other hand, it could also produce an undertaking that maximizes each of their skill sets, develops their critical eye and undertaking that maximizes each of their skill sets, develops their critical eye and underscores the process of collaboration.
