Bandai Announces Digimon Seekers Loogamon DIM Card & Digimom Linker Band Set at 2023 DIGIMON CON

The 25th anniversary web novel series “Digimon Seekers” has been officially announced, and the first product for the line is for the Vital Bracelet BE fans! Announces at the 2023 DIGIMON CON that was live streamed on YouTube on Sunday, February 12th, 2023, Bandai announced the Linker Band, which attaches to the Vital Bracelet BE or Digivice VV to transform them into the Digivice item from the Seekers story.

This is an accessory that does NOT come with the actual Vital Bracelet, this can be purchased separately. Preorders are already available on Premium Bandai Japan.

Another exciting accessory for Vital Bracelet fans is the new Loogamon DIM card, Loogamon is the main character from the Seekers story. The graphics provided include information about Loogmon’s lower levels Fusion and Bowmon. Also included in this set are a sheet of die cut stickers.

Preorders are already available on Premium Bandai Japan and will only be open for a week. Shipments will arrive the month after the Digimon Seekers story begins., which should be set for around July 2023.

Bandai UK Confirms Limited Volume DIM Card Release

More Digimon love for the UK. Bandai UK shop has announced that the Gammamon, Angoramon & Jellymon, Hermit in the Jungle & Nu Metal Empire, and Dynast of the Evil along with the DIM Card holsters will be available soon in limited volumes. These are excited to be released in the market for Q1 2023!

Bandai Namco US Releases Localized Digimon Vital Bracelet ‘Vital Hero’ & DIM Cards

A localized Digimon Vital Bracelet is here! Bandai Namco US just recently teased a “next stage in the USA” announcement, and the one lives up to the hype. Bandai Namco US is having a general US release of the Digimon Vital Bracelet under the branding of “Vital Hero”.

The Vital Hero Digimon Vital Bracelet will come in both black and blue, and each will be bundled with a DIM card. Bandai Namco US has announced via a tweet that the Vital Hero will feature Digivice V programming, comes equipped with sleep mode, sensor improvement, multiple Digimon storage in band, is compatible with the app, has an exclusive Dim card in blue band and all the DIM card sets have different evolution patterns that you can't find in the Japan DIM cards.

The black Vital Hero comes with the Impulse City DIM card which should be the same as Pulsemon DIM card. The blue Vital Hero comes with the Wolf Howl DIM card which focuses on Gabon with evolution paths based on Garurumon and Garurumon (Black).

There are some DIM cards in addition to the ones that are included with the Vital Hero’s. These DIM cards include Volcanic Beat & Blizzard Fang, Infinite Tide & Titan of Dust, Hermit in the Jungle, and Nu Metal Empire.

Preorders are now listed on Amazon! The Vital Hero’s are listed for $64.99 USD with a release date of July 21st, 2022. The DIM cards are listed for $19.99 and will also be released on July 21st, 2022.

Digimon Vital Bracelet DIM Cards Will Work With Vital Hero

Brandi Namco US has confirmed from a response to a Facebook comment that the DIM cards for the Vital Bracelet and Vital Hero are in fact interchangeable! You can use your Japanese DIM cards and insert them into your Vital Hero. Here is Bandai Namco US’ exact response:

“Japanese Dim cards can be used in the US version, but language will be in Japanese and we recommend using Vital Hero Dim Cards in device for best experience.”

It is still recommended that you use the English DIM cards for consistency as the Vital Bracelet DIM cards feature the Japanese language. This is very much reminding us of the Tamagotchi Meets and On, which were identical but could connect, and then your Tamagotchi would learn the other language! Oh the memories.

Bandai Japan Reveals Finalized DIM Card Holster & Dynasty Of The Evil DIM Card

In June Bandai Japan previewed a prototype of the DIM Card Holster, a product that would allow users to safety store their DIM cards and carry them around easily where’ve they go. The image of the prototype was openly shared on the official Digimon website and was featured in a white exterior with black interior. The official product in production form features the same design but in gray exterior and black interior. We must say that the production version looks more mature, and upscale. The DIM Card Holster features pockets where you can store five DIM cards along with their card frames. One side holds the DIM cards, the other holds the frames, with a flip of the holster you have access to both.

The real news here is that the DIM Card Holster will come bundled with an exclusive DIM card! The exclusive DIM card is the Dynasty Of The Evil which showcases Wizarmon on the frame. Looks like Bandai Japan is luring in orders with the help of the exclusive DIM card. Preorders are currently listed on Premium Bandai Japan, and Amazon Japan for ¥1,760 with a release date of mid-September 2021.

Digimon Vital Bracelet & DIM Card English Manuals!

Bandai America has not been shy about their intention to bring the Digimon Vital Bracelet outside of Japan. Preorders were listed on Premium Bandai America back in March, and then recently restocked after selling out in May. The device itself doesn’t support multiple languages, and Bandai America is preparing for the launch (September for North America) with English manuals for both the bracelet and DIM cards!
