Made art for a character a while ago from a story series I loved reading called Awkward Shades of Green. The series was made by @dimensionwriter, and the character I drew is Anx. (The best friend of the Mc and the sister of the love interest, Zerx.)
Honestly, I can't believe how freaking epic it came out. My art usually isn't this good, but man am I happy with it!
Again love the story and would definitely recommend for any Orc lovers out there!
(Please forgive any and all spelling/grammar errors in this post.)
Blue. Everything around you was this nice calming blue. The waves gently brushed against your boat before pardoning itself around it. The air held a slight salty scent to it that helped create this relaxing atmosphere.
For the last few weeks, you have been traveling around the world to see some of its natural beauty. Your boss sent you on this trip in order for you to write a story about the importance of connecting to untouched beauty of the world. In reality, you just took it as 'You are going on a paid vacation'.
The plan was to find hidden gems on land, but you couldn't help spending a few days in the water. It was something about the soft sounds of the waves and sometimes seeing a sea creature swim by that just enraptured you.
Lifting your hand, you spread the paint against the canvas. You weren't the best at painting, but you felt so inspired to at least attempt to. You were trying to paint how the ocean looked at sunset, but you doubt you could do it justice.
You put the paintbrush in the paint water. As you were painting, something kept catching your eye. A flash of orange kept appearing.
Maybe it was a fish. Maybe not. However, your curiosity was getting the best of you.
The thing was that when you were focused on the painting, the creature would appear. Then as soon as you lifted your head, all you would see was blue waves.
Quickly, you dropped to the ground and scooted away from your seat. The walls should cover you enough so that whatever sea creature it was, wouldn't see you.
Five minutes passed by and you were starting to think what you were doing was stupid. That was until the left side of the boat lightly tipped over. Water splashed against you, slightly soaking you
You looked up to see a mass of orange tentacles coming from over the edge. An octopus? How did an octopus manage to get this high up?
"Stupid humans."
The mass of tentacles dropped on the floor in front of you before sliding towards the area you were at before. Your eyes drifted up from the orange tentacles to the shift into a more human torso. Attached to the torso were a pair of long skinny arms. You couldn't see the face of the creature since you only saw it's backside. However, you could see a bunch of tiny tentacles curled near their shoulder.
"The human is marking the spot." Their voice was a lot deeper and grumblier than anything you've heard on land. The best way you could describe it was the roaring of waves during a storm. "They won't get away with this anymore."
You weren't dumb. You knew what you were looking at wasn't man nor fish. They seem to be a hybrid.
"Um, hi," you croaked out. It was inevitable that the creature would find you. Your feet were barely a foot away from them. You would hate for them to discover you while you looked like you were hiding. It's best to seem friendly.
The tentacles curled around themselves as the poor creatures jumped. They turned around quickly with a hand draw up in defense.
The face was that similar to a human, except there was no nose. Most of his face were large black eyes and the other half was a thin black line connecting to his thin dark orange lips.
"Nice to meet you," you spoke softly. You lifted your hands up to grab the railing and pull yourself up. The creature didn't say anything and only just squinted his eyes at you. "Can I ask why you came abroad?"
He glanced at your painting then back at you. "To protect my people from your kind. I'm tired of you attacking and harming us."
You froze up at the accusations. You haven't done any fishing or hunting in this area at all. You've been eating the food that you stocked up on from the other places.
"I think you may have the wrong person, buddy. I just got here a few days ago and I've been eating the food on my boat. I haven't hurt any merm… octopus people?" Could you consider him to be a merman? You didn't want to judge, but didn't they usually have one tail?
"Your kind constantly comes through with big boat like this and pull out guns and other horrific land weapons. You have the big boat like them," he growled out. The tentacles curled and began to tuck themselves underneath him, making him rise in height. Oh, he was definitely trying to intimidate you. Lucky for him, it was working.
"I'm not a hunter, I swear," lifting your hands, you tried to appear more innocent," I'm just a simple traveler trying to enjoy mother nature's beauty." You really feel like a traveler from the medieval time who just got stopped by a gang or something. Hopefully, you can make it out of this without getting attacked from this octopus man.
"You're marking the land on this weird paper," he stated while grabbing your canvas and presenting it to you as if he caught you red handed. "Do not try to lie to me, human."
You glanced at the painting of the sunset ocean and then back to the cold angry eyes of the man. "The sunset looks pretty on the water. So I painted it."
His eyes narrowed at you and you swore slits appeared on his neck. They flared out for a second before sliding back into the skin. His light orange skin was slowly starting to turn blue.
His tentacles were curling and uncurling, making his form seem a little unstable. He was beginning to shake the longer he stood there. The blue was slowly spreading down his thin face.
"I'll.. see about…that." The slits on his necks were wide open now. His mouth even parted as he attempted to breath. However, it seems the more he inhaled, the worse his condition got.
"Get back into the water," you yelled as you finally connected the dots. You ran over to him, mindful of his twitching limbs, and wrapped an arm around his waist.
Instantly, most of his weight was dropped on you. From how close you were, you could hear him struggling to breath through those slits.
You pulled quickly to the edge. Before you could warn him, you shove him off the boat. You'll have to apologize later for it. Although you would rather him be mad at you for throwing him then for him to suffocate on air.
A loud splash came from below. A few droplets of water got onto your face, but you could care less. The only thing on your mind was 'Is that octoman okay?'
A few agonizing seconds, nothing happened. He didn't pop up on the surface and you didn't see him swimming away. What if you killed him? It was only an 8 feet drop. Did he land in the water wrong?
Light blue. The water where he dropped in was changed to a light blue. Then, it shifted to a dark red colour. The red covered most of the area he went through.
You killed a octoperson. First, you try to convince him that you aren't like the other humans who harm him and then you kill him by throwing you off the boat. The guilt was already starting to overwhelm you.
"Human." You can still hear his grumbly voice. Is this what people mean when they say they feel their sins crawling down their back?
"Human!" Oh, his voice is getting louder. You can't even seek help for this. There's the one part of where people wouldn't believe you. Then there's the second one where humans would terrorize these creatures and probably do some traumatic research if you told anyone about this. That's not what that poor creature would have wanted for his people.
Water sprayed against your face. You didn't even realize that you had put your head on the railing in your moment of panic.
Glancing down, your eyes were met with small orange tentacles curled around a light orange face. Around his cheeks were small little blotches of blue.
"You're okay," you yelled out in excitement. You threw the upper half of your body over to the railing to get a closer look at him. The water around him was still that uneasy red, but his face wasn't showing any visible pain.
He floated up a little more, allowing you to see his upper waist now. Something red and blue were smeared across his chest. How did that happen?
"I'm so sorry for throwing you off like that. Did anything get hurt?" His eyes stayed on the water as he just silently floated next to the boat. It looked like something was bothering him. "Do you need some help?"
"No, I'm fine, lander. It's just.." His skin started turning blue again as his eyes narrowed. The slits on his neck open again before closing. "I apologize."
He lifted his arms out of the water. Red and blue water trickled down the curves of his arms before running down his chest. His fingers were completely red and orange. Held within his fingers was your painting. Well, what was left of it. He must have never let go of it when he went overboard.
"It's okay. I could always make another one of those or ask someone better to make it," you spoke lightly. You felt a smidge of disappointment because you actually worked hard on it. But that's not what matters at the moment. "What matters the most is that you're okay."
For the first time, his eyes stared up at you without any hatred in them. In those black orbs shined nothing but awe. His peach lips parted slightly before closing.
He launched forward and dove under the water. A wiggling mass of bright orange tentacles was engulfed by the water. After a few seconds, the water began to calm.
For a split second, you had hope that maybe he would come back, but you knew it was foolish. That was probably a once in a lifetime interaction. It wasn't going to last forever.
He stated earlier that humans were attacking his kind, so he most likely still holds that fear. It's shameful that your species would do something like that to another beautiful creature. Maybe you guys' interaction could help his heart. You're just one person, but maybe he could see that all of humanity is not like that.
You won't admit to yourself on how long you stayed outside just in case he came back again. Or how much your heart sunk when it finally dawned on you that he truly wasn't coming back.
That night as you closed your eyes, you let your thoughts wander to those fierce black eyes and light orange skin.
Sunlight. Thunder. Rough waves. All of those things you were used to waking up to. However, the feeling of something wet and slimy sliding across your arm, wasn't it. In your sleep hazen mind, you wondered if maybe some water had slipped in.
Then it dawned on you that you're in a boat that's thousands of miles from land. The last thing you would want is water slipping in.
Your eyes shot open and the first thing you noticed was a figure hovering over you. In a panicked daze, your right arm scrambled to your bedside dresser in search of a weapon.
Light flooded the room as you accidently hit the light switch. The figure above you flinched and stumbled off your bed.
The thing about living on a boat is that the space is extremely small. The space between your bed and wall is barely enough for you to squeeze through while standing. So for the poor intruder who just went butt first, he didn't have any space to leave.
Reaching to your left, you grabbed a wooden bat you brought from the last place you went to. Who would have thought that your decoration would be used for it's intentional purpose?
"Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!" Your eyes looked over at the intruder. Orange tentacles and black eyes. His skin was still dripping water making that orangish glow pop.
"You scared me," you whispered, dropping the bat onto the bed. You waddled across the bed to where he was. His tentacles were stuck between trying to grab onto your comforter and failing or pushing against the wall, but not having enough space to.
"I didn't mean for your slumber to stop. I wanted to gift back the fancy land paper while you slumber," he grumbled. That's when you noticed in his arm was what looked to be your canvas.
Instead of the smeared paint from the water, all of it was washed away. However, he found a way to replace it. The blue water was made with blue pearls and some sort of purple plant. The red skies were shimmering scales. The setting sun was made of something you couldn't name, but it held a slight glow to it.
"Woah, did you make this?" His hand reached towards the bed again to pull himself up, but the fabric just slipped through him. He dropped more into the hole.
Okay, slow down. Free him first, then ask questions later. You reached out for his hand, but stopped for a split second. You didn't want to seem like all you do is haul people around.
His eyes flickered from your awaiting hand to your face. A frown slowly came onto his face. "Again."
His hand was extremely cold and wet when it wrapped around yours. His black eyes blinked slowly as if he was shocked for a second. Whatever surprised him wasn't enough to stop him from pulling on your arm to free himself from the hole.
Orange appendages spread around your bed as he slides up onto it with you. Since the poor man was so tall, he had to slouch down to avoid hitting his head on your low ceiling. It didn't bother you much due to the fact you had an inch or two before your head hit it.
"I didn't know humans were so hot," he grumbled. He ball his fist up before letting the tension slowly dissipate. "I am in a position to give you gratitude. May the sea goddess know of your good deeds and send blessings your way."
You weren't a hundred percent sure what he meant. Maybe it was the octo-people way of saying thank you. It was adorable in it's own way.
"Apologies too for swimming into your pod without permission. I have tidals of faith in the water goddess for gifting you, however-" He trailed off as his fingers rub across the edges of the canvas.
"Did you create this?" You couldn't help admiring the painting again. It looked a million times better than anything you could have created. It took you days to make that painting and he made something like this in a few hours.
"No. I am not the best in this craft. I received help from someone within my shoal. I don't comprehend the pleasantry of seeing this. Do you find this pleasing?"
He extended the canvas towards you. A small brush of blue appeared on top of his cheek. He wasn't wheezing like last time, so why was he turning blue?
"Of course it's beautiful. I haven't seen most of these gems in real life. It's so much more vibrant than anything I could get with some paint." You couldn't help the smile that appeared onto your face. The canvas held within your hand seems to be glowing with beauty.
It's almost like he was inflated at your compliment. His shoulder squared up more and the corners of his orange lips quirked up more.
"Good. Good. I may not understand, but I know humans best out of my shoal." A tiny smile slipped onto his face. With his lips parted, it revealed a row of pointed teeth. That's kind of unexpected.
"Trust me when I say I really love this. Thank you-" You mouth stayed open as you realized you never got his name. Is it too late to ask? "I never caught your name."
His lips closed and his black eyes squinted at you. "I am Loire from the middle realm of the East Ocean Kingdom."
It was kind of surprising how seriously he said that. Maybe that's something about this new found world. You wouldn't mind seeing more of it.
"Well, Loire. I truly thank you for the art work. I will cherish it forever." You gave him a grateful smile as you hugged the canvas. It was slightly wet, but that didn't matter. It was the thought that counted and he truly proved that.
Loire didn't move a single inch. His black eyes just unwaveringly stared at you. You were expecting him to maybe leave after that. He gave you this beautiful gift. Maybe there was something else?
"Um, is there something else, Loire?" You asked, looking up at him with a patient smile. A small blue blush coated his cheeks as he called out your name.
"I stand with you until our actions are equal," he whispered. He slowly slithered forward until he was barely an inch away. His face was so close to yours.
Being this close to him, you could see small blue freckles scattered across his skin. His hair, well more like tiny tentacles, was slowly moving to stay out of his face.
"Our actions?" You don't know why you were whispering too, but with him so close, you couldn't help but feel meek.
His hand brushed against your arm as he made his way up. Softly, his hand landed against your cheek. He was so cold to the touch.
"You saved my life. Our actions need to be equal. I have to save your life." He leaned closer to you. His eyes scan you before looking back into your eyes. "Or, I stay with you…for eternity."
"Oh."

This is the closest I will get to doing something for Mermay. I've always wanted to do something, but I miss it, but not this time. I actually like Loire as a character. (Still have room in my heart for Kai though).
Now for the question to answer if you've made it this far. What's one thing you would love to do with Loire if you found yourself in this situation?
Apologies for this one being late. A lot of problems arose yesterday and my mother got sick (she’s fine now, just migraines) and I just couldn’t get a flow for this story.

Blind dates. You either ended up loving them or hating them. Your friends swear on their life that this person would be great for you, but then you meet them and it doesn’t hit off. Or you two hit off for the night, but then after a few days of texting, the magic wears off.
You were turned off on the idea of a blind date, but when a coworker happily talks about how well you will get along with her friend and how you guys will really hit it off, you couldn’t say no.
So, there you sat at on a chipped green bench in front of a random building you never heard of while you waited for this random person to show up and within the next few hours ‘blow you off your feet’. Your outfit was quite light and breezy considering the last few days have been quite sweltering; however, today was the day that mother nature decided to turn down the temperature and have giant gust of wind slamming against you every few minutes. Tonight was not starting off on a good note.
“Um.. hello?” Tilting your head back, you were met with the sight of a dark red. You had to bring your eyes down to see up the person. The dark red was actually a really thick coat that had a white rim around their neck. Finally, your eyes landed on their face. “Hi?”
His murky green skin had a dark red blush to it. Maybe at a quick glance, you would have assumed that it was natural, but it was too neatly placed. Especially the shiny red around his eyes that was been accentuated by a black wing.
“Are you waiting on anyone, by chance?” he asked, walking around to the front of the bench. With him in front of you, you could see how truly tall he was. He wasn’t as tall as some orcs you met, but he was still past the 6 foot range.
“Are you Pai by any chance?” you asked, getting ready to stand. A part of yourself was preparing yourself to just get this over with to take a nice relaxing bath. Although, you tried to repress it in order to not ruined the date.
He nodded and sat down next to you. His form took up most of the space on the bench causing his thigh to be pressed against yours. He jumped a little and scooted over to give you some more space.
Hmmm, respects personal space. That’s some bonus points.
He glanced over at you with a scrunched look on his face. His brown eyes looked so dark, like a storm brewing in them. “I’m going to be real with you.’
Oh, that never goes well.
“I didn’t know I was going on a date until my friend bust into my room 2 hours ago and said she had set me up. I don’t know what’s going on and I’m feeling so weird right now. I’ve never dated a human- nothing against you guys, you’re quite a handsome and beautiful human- this is just a first. So.... yeah.”
He seem to have shrunken into his coat as he got that off his chest. His eyes flickered over to you before looking back forward. You cracked a smile and relaxed down into the chair. “Well, I’m so sorry your friend dragged you into this. Just to be honest with you, I wasn’t looking that forward to tonight; so it won’t hurt my feeling if you decided to go back home.”
His fingers inched towards each other as he twirled the fur of his jacket. You could pretty much heard the wheels in his head churning as he weighed his options.
“I-well. I got dressed up for tonight,” he laughed out, pointing to his outfit. The main colour was red with white and black being accent. You had to admit that it made him look good. “And behind us is a new arcade that just open that I’ve been wanting to go to.”
His lips parted to reveal a beautiful smile that caused his eyes to squint up. Two tusk were peaking past his lips. On the left one was a band around it that had a little dangly gold star on it.
“Well, I wouldn’t mind just chilling for the night. At least now we don’t have to try so hard to make this ‘romantic’.” He let out a tiny giggle. He readjusted his jacket and smoothly raised off the bench.
You followed his lead and got off the bench. He walked over to the dark brick building. Looking up, you could see the neon pink sign glowing out the word “Lucky Plays”.
“I heard they had a lot of the retro games in here-” he explained to you as he pulled on the metal door. A blast of cold air hit you instantly making you take a step back. Goosebumps spread throughout your entire body from that single breeze.
He stopped as he looked at you shivering . A glance at the door and one back at you, he walked over to you. You're had slowly tilted back as he moved forward so you can keep you eyes locked on his face.
"I know this isn't really a date anymore," he grumbled out. His thick fingers worked quickly to undo the buttons on his jacket, allowing it to slide down his shoulder. "But I can still be a decent orc."
He was ever so gentle as he let the fabric drape around your shoulder. Soft furs brushed against your skin as warmth seeped deep into your bones.
You were prepared to thank him, but was stopped as he dropped down to a knee. Grabbing the front of the coat, he pulled the buttons a little and started to put them together.
"You know. I thought I looked good in red, but sweetie you look so much better than I do," he hooked the final button and looked up at you, "especially when it's my clothes."
I-um- what? He just went from awkward adorable orc to a flirt real quick. What's is going on? And why is your cheeks heating up?
"I'm joking. Had to tease a bit," he laughed out. He stood up to his normal height making you realize just how big he was.
"Come on, let's go in. Gotta show you how good I am at Galaxian." His hand came down to lightly ruffle your hair. Turning away, he started walking towards to door. You were a little slow this time to keep up because of you trying to ignore the blood rushing through your cheeks.
"Pai?" You called out. In you hands were two sticks of pink cotton candy that Pai had asked you to get. He said he needed to do something real quick, but he hasn't came back.
So far, tonight has been amazing. The two of you have just been running around whatever video game caught your eye. Pai wasn't kidding when he said he was good at Galaxian. He pretty much carried you most of the rounds.
This non date felt a lot more enjoyable than the actual dates you have been on. You didn't feel the pressure to talk the entire time about yourself or half heartedly ask your date about themselves.
This date was different. You guys just talked when you felt like it. There was no need to fill in the silence or worry if you were looking attractive. It was just laughter, screaming, and fun.
"Dang it." Your head tilted at the familiar phrase you've been hearing all night. You followed it past some machines into a small corner.
Pai was hunched over to reach to the controller as his eyes focused on the swinging claw infront of him. The sleeves on his white shirt was rolled up, showing you how serious he was. It was funny that it was just over a plushie machine.
"Pai, if you wanted to play some more, you could have just said so," you mumbled walking over to him. He glanced over to you with a pout on his lips. Most of the makeup on his cheeks were wiped away from constantly wiping it throughout the night.
"No, I wanted to surprise you with this little teddy bear," he said pointing to a green bear that was sitting on top of the others. "I know it's cheesy and this isn't really a date, but I wanted to get you a little something that could remind you of me after this."
Ah, your heart. He was too cute.
"Well, I mean," you walked towards the machine causing Pai to back up; you handed over the cotton candy to him before looking forward," This won't be the last time seeing you. I was hoping there would be a next time."
You dropped the crane into the center of the bear. The claw wrapped around it's torso, lifting it up and bringing it over to the hole.
"I would really like to meet you again too," he admitted, smiling brightly. You picked up the bear and turned towards him. Holding it out towards him, you gave him your own big smile.
I’m going to attempt flufftober in order to get myself back into writing. I know I’m 8 days behind, but I just want to do the best I can and just have fun with it.
Heat sweltered out from the machine and surrounded you in it’s dark earthy aroma. The scent swirled around you before flowing through your vein, lighting up every nerve. Nothing was quite like making a fresh cup of hot coffee in the late afternoon. The sun low in the horizon causing a nice golden glow to cover the entire shop and all it’s customers inside.
Working here felt like a dream, to be honest. The dark brown woods on every wall being accented by the dangling fairy lights hidden with the plants. Dim brown square tables littered around the place with customers sitting in it as they idly chatted with each other about there day with a steam from the cup surround them.
The best way to describe the environment of this job would be cozy. Like a home away from home. It was inevitable to not fall in love with this place.
A light tinkering from the door was the only cue for a customer coming in. Turning away from the machine, with the freshly brewed cup in your hand, you quickly lidded it and handed it to the waiting customer. Your eyes drifted away from the previous customer to see who walked in. “Welcome to Lucky Beans!”
There near the entrance was a hunched over creature holding a brown tote bag satchel to his chest as he wearily looked around. Dusty red fur covered a majority of his body, except for his protruding snout that was pulled back in uneasiness.
It seem like he was trying to shrink into himself, but his monstrous height had his towering over all the others. He was a head under the ceiling beam, but you knew if he stood at full height you wouldn’t doubt he could touch it.
“Alaska,” you called out to him. His pair of light brown eyes instantly went to you as his snout eased into a small smile. He gripped his bag closer to him and begin to shuffle forward. His eyes kept flickering around him as he tried not to run into the tinier creatures making way around him.
Finally, he was at the front with a relieved look on his face. Rotating your head 45 degrees back, you were finally able to look at his face again. “I’m going to get a neck ache having to look at you,” you joked.
“How do you think I feel?” he grumbled with his head almost fully dropped to look at him. You let out a giggled and walked over to the counter. You lifted it over to let your coworker in.
“So, tell me why you’re here 40 minutes early? I thought you had basketball practice tonight?” you asked, watching as he tried his best to not knock into things. His tail was lazily swaying behind him as he walked to the back room.
A bowl near the edge of the counter seem to have been the target for his tail. A red tail lightly brushed it, but that seem enough to cause it to fall towards the floor.
Launching forward, you caught the bowl before any of the batter could have spilled everywhere. Alaska stopped in his track and turned towards you. His brown eyes shifted over you as he took in you awkwardly bent over with a bowl in your hand.
“Did I- Oh gosh- I’m so sorry,” he stuttered out as he wrapped his giant furred hand around your waist, while being cautious of his claws pressing into your back. He easily lifted you off the ground and placed you correctly up. His free hand grabbed the bowl and placed it on the table it was originally from. “I’m sorry. I need to be more aware of my tail.”
Alaska was a slight klutz in the shop due to everything being miniature size and light compared to him. But in a way, it was enduring seeing him always tiptoeing around and awkwardly try to handle customers.
“Nah you’re good man,” you said patting his back. The white t-shirt was smug against him from how thick his fur was. It felt like your were petting a pillow. “So, why were you early?”
He slipped into backroom and you quickly followed. The room was less of a... well room and more like a walk in closet. There was shelves on every wall that was used by ever worker here. Alaska was the only one with a top shelf since it reached near the room and it was a nice eye level with him.
“Well,” he grumbled, reaching for his brown apron. He grabbed the neck strap with the tip of his claws and threw it over head. His ears twitched unconsciously from something brushed by it. “We have an important game tomorrow and coach wanted us to get some rest before then.”
You noticed the way his tail sunk down at his words and his ears flatten. He loved playing basket ball. Why was he looking so down about a game?
“Are you- are you not looking forward to tomorrow?” You asked lightly. His head turned towards you for a split second before looking back forward at his section. He reached into his bag and pulled out a pair of earrings. He slipped them into the hole in his right ear before doing the same for his left ear.
“I would, but..” he trailed off before letting out a long sigh. He threw his bag up in the section and turned around. His formed shrunk as he squatted down to the ground. You walked forward and started to run your fingers through the fur on top of his head.
“It’s just last game went so horribly. Soon as I walked onto the court, the other team started yelling and screaming at me how it was unfair to have a ‘mutt’ on the other team.” You walked forward a little to allow him to lay his head on your shoulder as you continue to rub his head and ears in sympathy. “And then it was the end of the game and we were so close to winning and I had the ball. Another player came around and stepped on my.. my tail. I.. um.. I dropped the ball and the other team got it and scored. My coach tried to call a foul on the other team, but the referee said I should have had my tail up instead of letting it dangle near the floor.”
You scratched near the base of his ear causing him to let out a light hum. He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close. “Well, how about next game, I can come there to support you. That way if a ref does something like that again, I can be there to physically punch him.”
He let out a light laugh that rumbled deep down his chest. His hold on you tighten as he let out another sigh. “Yeah, I think I would like that.”
“Yeah, I can be your own cheerleader. Like your good luck charm or something,” you said happily while fluffing up the fur around his head. He let out another hum that went into a small growl.
“Thank you so much for letting me rant. What would I do without you?” he mumbled in your ear. He pulled away from you allowing you to look into those beautiful brown eyes. You tried to ignore how your heart was pounding from the closeness.
“That’s what... coworkers are for.”

Day one done. This only took me an hour, which is decent enough for not writing something in a while. But yeah, here’s a werewolf on this blog for a change. Will Alaska show up again in flufftober, maybe.
So we understand that the "were" in werewolf means a human changing into a wolf. So this has spark things like werebears, were panthers, etc.
So hypothetically speaking, sometimes werewolves aren't fully wolves, like half human and half wolf. But there's still considered werewolf.
Okay, you're following along. Now here's the crazy part. Is it wrong to call a mermaid a werefish? Like they're half human and half fish. And centaurs! Werehorse.
Or is it only for furry creatures. Exophilia community, please humor me in this conversation for a little. 💜
It was my birthday a few days ago, so I’m going to post something a little self indulgent. Don’t mind me being a little greedy today.
Y/N
The player none of the boys suspect, even if they’re crewmate or impostor.
Can totally get away with pulling the “I haven’t played this map before. I’m learning”. None of the other players even question them.
It’s only if they do something very obvious, like kill someone in front of the group or vents in front of them. Even then someone will be like “Wait.. was that y/n”.
Usually the last one to get killed because they feel bad about it. Except for a few of the players. Some will chase you across the map, kill you, then self report being like “WHO DID IT! WHO KILL THEM?! FESS UP”.
You got a lot of wins under your belt.
Zerx
He’s lost most of time. You don’t know if he’s sus because he’s been standing in one spot for a while or if he’s trying to understand the map.
Follows y/n around a lot, leading to them being like “Ummm, I think it may be Zerx”.
He will be playful when he’s crewmate, but will turn competitive when he’s impostor. The best player than.
Everyone can figure out when he’s impostor because he will be pointing a lot more fingers than, then when he’s crewmate. But, sometimes he does the silent move and doesn’t say a thing and just let others accuse each other.
Has a 50/50 chance of winning. He either manages to kill half the crew in one round or he just vents at the very start of the match. There’s no middle ground.
Vyzer
Poor baby. He's scared most of the time, so he's always alone.
Is usually the second one to get killed due to his loneliness. Soft little whines from his ghost as he goes to do task, at least now in peace.
When it's time for him to be the Impostor, it goes horrible.
You will be looking at the cameras and see him sneak up on someone before running off, then coming back to kill them. His little players hops backwards and forward for a while before reporting.
"Um- I-um- I found a body. Yeah- it was- um- near- wires."
If anyone one questions him, he gone for. Just stays quiet for a while and everyone just votes him because they know.
He may not be the best player, but he enjoys having fun with you.
Professor
"I don't understand this game. If there's a bad person among you, just kick everyone off the ship except yourself. Done. Promblem solve."
Even though he's muted, he will still talk about how inaccurate things are. "Who puts an reactor out in the open? I wish doing wires were this easy. I gotta spend 12 hours on them before doing paperwork on it."
He's the mischievous one. Will follow people around just for the hell of it and during the discussion, he'll say " You weren't in electric. I vented in there and it was empty."
As the impostor, loves to play with his prey. He'll chase them for a long time before walking away, making them think they're safe. Then vent to their new room and kill them.
Loves self reporting. "Hey guys, so I was on my way to murder yellow earlier and came across this body. Lol."
If he's killed, you can hear the angry yelling across half the ship. And oh boy if someone falsely acuse him when he wasn't messing with them, he will be yelling through discord before going completely silent.
"My mask came down, but let me tell you why what blue said was crap."
Axel
First one to be killed. 5 seconds after the match start, there's his little black body on the ground. His tiny little mini-me, that definitely isn't named Y/N, staring at his decaying body.
Those few rounds he isn't killed, he off alone doing his task. If someone enters the room, he just leaves instantly (the pain of the past is still there).
He has to use the chat because he can't speak. So sometimes the people talking may be late a little to catch him saying "Red just appeared in a room that use to be empty."
If they don't notice it, red screen and angry screech.
When he's impostor. He wins, there's no if or ands or buts about it. He has to sneak around and get the job done, he's on it.
Sometimes people can figure out he's the impostor by how long he last in a match. But look in the chat and he's smooth talking everyone into believing it's not him.
Seeing the victory screen is followed by a yellow screen and happy beeps. (If you someone sees this, he will deny that it ever happen. Must be those human ears)
Midnight Mask
Doesn't play. He doesn't understand technology, so if you put him in front of a screen, he jokes pokes at the keys randomly and looks at you with a confused puppy face.
So he just sits next you and watches you play. He doesn't understand what's going on, but he knows when you look sad something bad happen.
His job is the cheerleader and comforter.
Karon
Aggressive player. Always yelling how he think this player is sus or this one was acting weird.
He's asking all the questions and you better not stutter of he will be convinced your the impostor.
He hates doing electrical because he always does there. So he never goes alone. He sees someone do medbay or astreoids, he does the little wiggle to get them to follow him into electrical.
" I don't trust no one on this ship. For all I know, they can all be the impostor."
Very quick with his task, tend to be the first one done. This leading him to following people to use himself as bait.
If he dies and let's say red did it and he know someone should know red did, and they end up voting off blue. Angry demon is screaming at screen.
Will walk over to you to complain about what happen and finish watching you play , if you're still alive. He won't spoil who the impostor is, but will growl if you vote for the wrong person.
As the impostor, he is devious. Will use that " I was with brown the entire time, so they're good", just to get someone on his side.
He loves vent killing someone. Pops out of a vent kills someone and goes to the other side of the map to be with Brown again.
Got a 65% winning rate.
Cosmo
He's a gamer man. Loves games that have deception in it and allows him to be . He thrives in it.
Most of the time he's giggling and saying "Stop following me green." He's fantastic with his fingers, so he's able to escape most of the time before pressing the emergency button. "Hey, I don't know about you guys, but green just followed me around like I stole his first born."
Tends to be the last one when it comes to finishing task because he's too busy running around.
"I trust y/n.... Why? Look at that face. Does that look like the face of an impostor?" Then gets killed.
If you are next to him, he will whine about how unfair it that you killed him. You have to give him 15 kisses to make up for it.
He really doesn't like being impostor because of the whole tieflings being deemed "evil". He likes to be chaotic, but still deem good where as being evil and chaotic and being the stereotypical "tieflings".
So, he's the type to kill infront of everyone and goes " I know what it looked like, but due to the red lighting and the coloring on our lens, it wasn't me "
He will only really try at impostor if the two of you are impostor. If someone starts suspecting you, he will turn it into himself. "What do you mean y/n just appeared in cafeteria? I just vented there and it was empty."
He gets lost during discussion time sometimes. Is the person to ask "Wait, who we voting?". He just gets lost in the noises and his brain is like elevator music.
He's just there to have fun and spend time with y/n when they aren't around.
Taoi
One of the few chill players. He just paddles around to do his task. Doesn't try to follow people or stay in group. Just... vibes honestly
When a meeting is called, he'll just sit back and listen to other people accusing. If someone likes white has spoken. He'll lean forward to uute to go "I'm eating Takis right now."
The accidental jokster of the group because of how chill he is. "My memory is not that great for a 500 year old. But I don't remember them being in that room with me. May just be my lack of brain though."
As the impostor, not very good. He prefer to do sabotages and hope his partner will kill them. If it's just him, he will slowly kill. His main focus is to not be suspicious.
Usually looses to the completion of task. He always says gg afterward. The game may not say he won, but a win for him is no one suspecting him.
Yeah, here's just a little something. I'm trying to easy my way back into writing.
