@ungraceds ―  he  agreed  to  this  .  dimitri  is  meeting  her  as  soon  as  his  shift  is  over  .  another  lesson  ,  except  his  thoughts  are  plagued  by  a  fact  he’s  finding  himself  unable  to  shake  :  mike  would  be  her  date  tonight  .  he’d  be  meeting  her  family  ,  and  homme  would  most  likely  be  sat  at  home  hoping  the  other  would  mess  up  .  and  yet  ,  even  if  the  simple  thought  is  eating  him  up  inside  ,  he  shows  up  anyway  .  perhaps  because  he’s  hoping  she’d  somehow  change  his  mind  .  “  marilyn  ,  ”  he’s  walking  into  the  small  flower  shop  ,  hands  sliding  inside  his  pockets  as  the  door  behind  him  falls  shut  ,  and  the  small  bell  above  him  rings  .  he’s  quiet  ,  perhaps  a  little  more  than  usual  ,  but  he’s  moving  closer  to  her  anyway  .  “  you  nervous  about  tonight  ?  ”  about  mike  ,  and  her  family  .  “  i'm  sure  it’ll  be  fine  .  ”

dimitri  hadn’t  heard  of  her  since  the  night  they’d  shared  in  their  room  ,  hadn’t  reached  out  himself  either  .  he  doesn’t  know  where  they  stood  ,  femme  had  been  tormenting  his  mind  ,  and  the  silence  only  made  turmoil  of  thoughts  louder  .  caught  a  glimpse  of  her  on  the  other  side  of  the  room  ,  and  he’s  quick  to  make  his  way  towards  her  ,  palm  curling  around  her  wrist  to  stop  her  in  her  tracks  .  “  you’re  avoiding  me  .  ”  but  so  was  he  ,  “  can  we  talk  ?  i'm  starting  to  lose  my  mind  over  this  .  ”  but  he  already  had  .

seeing  her  with  the  other  had  set  dimitri’s  world  on  fire  .  he  felt  like  daggers  were  slicing  through  pumping  heart  ,  could  feel  own  pulse  in  his  throat  as  he  confronts  her  .  “  so  you’re  back  together  with  him  .  ”  voice  is  laced  with  venom  ,  hues  locking  with  hers  as  he  speaks  .  he’s  pissed  and  hurt  .  the  look  on  his  face  gave  it  away  .  “  you  could’ve  at  least  given  me  a  heads  up  ,  ”
