Today I'm going to show you my remise en forme and restoration work with the artistic coloring of boots by one of my favorite shoemakers - Dimitri Gomez. These are boots created for Crocket & Jones. I tried not only to give new life to these used shoes, but especially to give them a look that resembles as much as possible the old shoes of the early 1900's, created by the best shoemakers of that era. This Patina I have called "Once Upon a Time in C&J".It would be really great, if Crockett & Jones would launch a line of shoes inspired to the old shoes of 1900... What do you think?
